Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

As the course curriculum is not that relevant according to the industry aspect. The courses are mostly based on old technology and subjects are also not important to real-world application. There are labs but most of the equipment doesn't work and also in labs they don't teach experiments rather they just give you a file and tell you to write the experiments from that file into your file. And regarding to frequency of exams so there is not much pressure you have 2 mid sem exams and the end-semester exam and most of the time they take only 1 mid-semester sem exam. You can take an exam just by studying a day before exam and can score good cgpa.

Placement Experience

2.5

About the placements mass recruiter companies visit with package of 3-4 lac for software related profile and most of the branches are eligible to sit in placement. Also some companies visit with profile of business development ( or we can say for a sales job) with package of 5-6 lpa. I my time L&T visit for some core branch profile but select very less students. You can also go for off-campus placements but you have to prepare by yourself, some of the students in my time had cracked the good placements. And the other option is gate, gate is less tougher exam then jee and you can prepare by yourself also if you start early or also can take coaching for gate online and offline. As I took drop of one year and prepared for gate and I secured AIR 289 in ELECTRONICS. So at last you have to work hard to built your career if you are taking this college

Fees and Financial Aid

Well I don't remember that much about fees structure and scholarship but you will complete your btech in just 1lac if you are in general category and if you will get eligible for MMVY then all your fees is been paid by govt you just need to pay to stay there. Well there only few companies visit in campus placements and they offer packages of 3-4lac in mainly the software domain. I remember only L&T visit for mechanical, civil, and electronics profiles.

Campus Life

3.5

My campus life so many ups and down and my was only to explore new things. I didn't focus on placements and academics even after this I scored a decent 8cgpa. Luckily my friend circle is very good we had also done startups, yes we got failure but it was very good experience and we learned a lot from that. There are many clubs like writing and poetry club, chess club and also related to technology like coding club. You much to do new things but its on you to use time on learning and exploring or preparing for placements as well as on just watching movies and web series or roaming here and there.

Admission

For admission, you have to apply on MP-DTE counseling, you will have to list colleges with there branch according to your choice. When you get the college they provide you the date for document verification, the management team is good they will guide you properly and also many time they tell you if you are eligible for any scholarship. In my time they told me about the MMVY scholarship.

Faculty

4.5

The student-to-faculty ratio is not good, there are mostly guest teachers to teach you. Most of the professors went for PhD. Also, they are not interested in teaching students they come and do their work, take 1 to 2 lectures, and leave. But professors have a lot in their life they have so much of knowledge you can take advice but only if you visit them again and again, they don't come and tell you.

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.
