What Students Say

Likes

I like the size of the campus and the facilities provided there.
Grounds and the greenery I like most and swimming pool also
Transport facility and hostels and uni mall I like the most

Dislikes

I don't like the food of the mess which quality is not good
I don't like the timmings of the classes as there are 7 to 8 classes in a day .
I don't like the water drainage system there

Course Curriculum Overview

My decision is to become software engineer so I choose btech cse , in my personal opinion they have to teach c and c++ languages first then they should teach python and Java. Improvement should be in the time given to ca because in every month there are ca's which is very difficult for us to get marks .

Class Size: 7Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For internships there are many companies reaches to our college like Infosys and TCS they all need is a good resume and the skills which we have which they want hoe much we are capable of doing that job according to them

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't like the fee policy because they have increased the fee which should be decreased and everyone is not affordable to that fee if he or she didn't get scholarship. Ya scholarship programme is very good In which we can give a test and can get good scholarship upto 30 %

Campus Life

If I tell bout my overall experience then it is brilliant because I get all the things which I want in a college good infrastructure , hostel facilities , various clubs and mall big grounds to play and all other things .

Admission

Admission process is easy you can get direct admission and if you want scholarship than you can give ve scholarship exam which is lpunest . In admission process they should clear all the procedure in one day but they didn't do so. We have already submitted document then they again after one month ask for the documents.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculty members are very good in teaching way and in personal ways also . I have mentor there and he is very calm and he listens to all my problems and gives solution to my all problems . If you don't get the concept then you can ask them however times you want they will give you the answer.

attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
