- Campus life is great. If you are a fresher i would recommend to stay in hostels it might get a little tough but it gives a good overview of how minimalistic life you would get once you are left to live alone in this world
- College is well known for great sports facilities and co-curricular activities are also promoted which helps in an overall development of a student
- Teaching facility is average but the examination criteria is tough and the grading has become tougher in last few years so thorough knowledge of a subject is very important
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and relevance have mostly been derived from the nptel courses and are aligned. Scoring in these academic examinations has become difficult after the NAAC a++ accreditation, and the examinations and grading systems have been revised. Teaching methods could be improved by involving practical learning more than theoretical learning.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are a very good initiative by the college the fees after a scholarship could range from 70000-120000. Financial aid as well as loan letters are easily provided. There are certain more scholarships for students from an army family background, a Kashmiri status, or even minorities of the northeast which is a great initiative to make education affordable for everyone.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is indeed world-class, campus life is good, the library is a very good place which is open till midnight, classrooms can be improved by better seating and the students social groups, clubs have been active and are a great initiative for students to participate in college activities and enjoy their college life apart from studying.
Admission
The admission process is quite easy, but document verification can be a delayed process the application fee is 1000 and the seat registration fee is 10000, reservation benefits are not given in this, and the difficulty level of the exam is moderate as most of the jee pyqs are there in the scholarship exam, the admission process can be bettered if you take admissions of students after a certain qualification because open admissions on basis of exams have emerged in overcrowding the university and I would suggest taking offline exams to enhance the credibility of the exam and for giving scholarship to worthy candidates.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite low because of the excessive admissions every year it is difficult for the teachers also. The faculties are nice and interaction with them can help you gain knowledge of clear concepts.
