Course Curriculum Overview

Currently I am pursuing B.Tech CSE because I like tech things and I wanted to explore more . Our university provides me knowledge related to my course also give my guidance and pathway to become a good software engineer.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our university also provides internships facilities . Companies like google Amazon was offered roles for students . And many big companies provide that internship offer to students for there good currier.

Placement Experience

Placement in my university was very good . Many big companies came to our university for placements . At our university the highest package was 3 crore and average package was 12.5 lakh it is very good. Percentage of students getting placement is 90% . My plan after getting the degree was finding a good placement . After some years off working I wanted to my own clothing brand .

Fees and Financial Aid

Our university provides scholarships facilities also we have to give a exam LPUnest to take advantage of scholarship . Scholarship is given according to our ranking in entrance exam . The complete cost of my education is across 100000 . The university also provides awards to students to give them motivation to keep working hard .

Campus Life

My overall experience in my campus was very good . Our campus was nature friendly . We have many gardens and trees in our university . Our campus architecture was very good . The library of my university was very big . Our university also have Mac OS lab for students.

Admission

Eligibility of my course was 12 th passed with science field . To getting admission I found a form on lpu website and I feel it . After some days I gave entrance exam named LPUNEST . The exam was online mode I gave it from my home . After that I reached to university and start taking classes.

Faculty

In my university most of the teachers are completed there PHD . Most of the teacher in my university are very humble and passionated . Faculty to students ratio in my university was 60:1 it help us to learn more and good . Our faculty members also provide us mentoring opportunities for our good career. They also suggest us good pathways .

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.
