Remarks

My admission process was smooth and I didn't face any issue. I just gave the exam of the LPUNEST qualified that exam with a good score and got the call and paid the fees and get into the university. I found the application details of their website only.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is overall good, but it could be more organised, well it is getting better since I joined the university they changed a lot things which will defenitely gonna help every student in their career.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Well, I talked to my seniors they got the internship from the campus as I completed my 2nd year I may get the internship in my 3rd year, but yes you must have the skills and knowledge to get qualified cause no company wants to get into the loss.

Placement Experience

3.5

I think those who really deserve to get the good placement, even this year when everyone is talking about the recession LPU's students got placement of 52lpa, 39lpa, and much more, and yes if the student will increase and the job seats will not then there will be an increase in unemployability

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees and residential fees are increasing every year, that year 2022 When I joined my sem fee was 120000 but I got a scholarship of 36000 to be honest, I felt that the residential charges were a little expensive according to the facility.

Campus Life

3.5

When you are talking about college campus life I must say that the LPU provides one of the best college campus life, but everywhere if there are some pros then there will be some corns, similarly we have here also.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are good, but according to price, they could be better, like every hostel has their canteen, mess, and tuck shop, rooms provided with a cooler and AC as well and the cleaning staff comes on every 2 to 3 days to clean the room and toilets and corridors and stairs get cleaned every day every hostel have the life facilities as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Faculty

3.5

As the class size in the B.Tech (CSE) is 72 so in my point of view, the faculty-to-student ratio is a little large. Mostly teachers come into the class open the PPT read out and go but some faculties are too good they teach in such a way that even if you don't revise you will never gonna forget that.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
