College infrastructure is great mind blowing
Students are good not much chapri and all
Teacher are good cleanliness is also there

Students are cheap a bit they all are snakes
Some teacher are worst not teach properly
Watchman is not much cooperative it's like a jail for hostellers

The course curriculum is good and nice to study we are nicely able to study and focus and we r getting future ready by this curriculum as there 1 compulsory foreign language also which has to be taken

The internship are provided in clinical aspects and hospital and many places like IIT also the internship are provided the cipla , semen company also u get internship u will get paid and nice it will be

100 Percentage placement is provided they give placement in nice and good company like semen and many more food product company placement is provided and some r give in nice salary also which is great

Fees and Financial Aid

If u have got more than 80 percentage in 12 u get scholarship in 20 or 30 percentage according to percentage u have got if got more than 95 even 100 percentage wave off is give to some of my class fellows

Campus Life

Campus is tooo great I am saying u will get the best experience of club and u can get the best for sure out of it and best experience u will love the campus life and club and there is sports also good football, basket ball cricket, grounds are there

No entrance is required u can just go in college and get admission is college directly and it's too easy there is just one thing that why u want to take admission in college and what things u have done yet

The faculty members are highly qualified and best mostly everyone is PhD and teach too nicely and effective u can even ask doubts how many time u want and shar ur personal problem too with them they help with everything

AISSMS collage hit or miss ???????

Likes

The campus of the college is small but it's envoirment is good and the college is not in outskirts of the city with minimal transportation facilities. There is pune metro station just after coming outside of the college
The canteen facility is good and the rates are not high . It's completely affordable

Dislikes

Some of the staff in college has very big attitude issues . Mostly the First year depart staff .
The college is more strict for uniform and id card which i personally don't like

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Cafeteria is large occupy measures pace for all students
Library has all book that require for degree
Wide campus for other culture activities

Dislikes

Only one event jashne theem in one year rest only study.
Do not have generator facilities if the light is gone there will be no other supplementary for electricity
If you are facing any difficulty in facility related it will take very much time to resolved it

My god is information technology and it is very relevance and comparison in theme College of engineering having string stuff and rules and regulation in IT they are not providing more facilities like PC and other you have to study your own

A honest review from student who completed one year in VIT MUMBAI

Likes

Infrastructure is so good of this college yeah the campus is not that huge but the way the managed the infrastructure is so good the auditorium of the college it is best
Faculties of the college are so good they are not rude they all have PHDs and all are so good at their own subjects
Girls to boys ratio are also way better than other engineering colleges you will see 30 girls and 40 boys in a classroom

Dislikes

The area near the college is so bad means there is slum behind the college
The college have very strict rules for the events
College have not provided any hostel facility near the college, college have hostel but it is 40 min away from the college by local train

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester once you have done your internship. There are various companies that visits college every year like TCS ,Works Application, Uniqlo and Amazon Web Services etc Highest package offered was 37.5 lakhs and the average package is 4-4.5 lakhs Every year around 60-70% students are placed in this college I am planning to have masters in IT.

COEP - Another Life for College

Likes

The campus of our college which was divided into 2 sides of road and it's greenery and architecture of each branch building.
Technical Fest that motivated youngsters to showcase their potential including MindSpark, COEP Zest, Impressions and the Gathering that used to make our college life memorable with full of events and activities
Relative Grading in CGPA for each subjects where grade range for each pointer was decided on relative performance of all batch students

Dislikes

Lectures especially the theory lectures during afternoon time after lunch was a challenge to listen and be attentive and focused.
Student section members of college were to some extent rude when it comes to handling with documentation work.
Hostel rooms especially of first year H block were not that much good and clean.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Honest review of my College

Likes

Infrastructure, air conditioned labs, classrooms
Big Library, den to play online and offline games
Fun events, verve( annual college event)

Dislikes

Area around college is a not good, cleanliness is not there
Bus frequency is very less for dadar, wadala bus frequency is very good
Every Monday tests, weekend gets ruined , can't focus on developing new skills.

Placement Experience:

College placement is pretty good. Many students are not sitting for the placements, they are going for higher studies like mtech, masters and mba. the average package is 4-5 lpa. Highest package is 25 lpa off campus.

Placements are really good of the college Indira college of engineering and management pune Highest package was 240000. And minimum package is 12-15 lakh per month. Almost every student in this college get placement

Likes

Highly qualified teching faculty, Discipline
Helping Senior, Anti-ragging cell also there.
The campus is between wood so it is very Green and clean Campus.

Dislikes

Canteen Hygiene is bad, cost of food is in budget.
Lab facility is not too good some computers are not working.
There is very hot climate in class room due to lack of fans and the alignment of the fans in some classrooms are not proper .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching is very good and they always set the best examples to understand the concept.. And they are well believed in practical knowledge with their students. They are well consistent and working hard in learning and understanding the cybersecurity.

Academically very good college. All activities for working in a company are fulfilled
Helpful nature of teaching and other staff
Strict in terms of submission and exams.

Dislikes

Crowd of students not that good as there are minority students.
Some teaching staff are not good teachers
No ground and need for permission for every small things

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from sem6 for placement. Companies visiting are Tata, Cape Gemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. Highest package was 1.2 cr and average is 4.5 L . Students getting placed are 95%. My plan is to pursue Msc.

The thing I like about college is there is environment for the students who are willing to do something and are trying hard to get some skills.
Tech Culture is good for CS Major, like you will get the senior support for the update regarding new tech event and to support the junior for new skills learning and trends going on.
Some of staff will really help you regarding your problems or even what to do next

Dislikes

The teaching faculty focus more on syllabus rather than actual skills
The college Campus is so small there are only 2 building ( in which only one has lift )for all engineering branches and the ground is very dusty and small
There No big canteen for students only has cafe and one more thing (college shuru hote hi khtm ho jata hai)

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud,iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

COVID-19 changed everything, including the college admissions scenario. So, I was in a bit of a mess. I did not study well for exams like JEE, and my 11th and 12th foundational concepts in maths n physics were not so good. MHT-CET was a big gamble, which did not go according to plan. But I had to get into a college, and I wanted one in Mumbai. Amity University Mumbai seemed to be a right choice. It offered direct admissions, which was of great relief for a student like me. It was located at Mumbai, and the structures and facilities were good enough. The Amity experience: Highlights and Insights

I had applied to manipal university, nmims university and amity University. And I honestly I loved the subjects and the curriculum the best here in amity. Moreover, the course that I was interested in had just started in manipal and nmims university hence I wasn't sure about how the course would turn out and amity on the other hand had this course for over 5-6 years which gave me the confidence in the effectiveness of the course. I got accepted to manipal and because of some technical glitch during my entrance for nmims, I got rejected from there. Studying- A fun adventure at Amity University, Mumbai

Eligibility: 60% and above in 12th boards. Students who have completed their 12th irrespective of any stream can apply. All the details of the application form, fees, and dates can be found on their website- Not sure about the reservation benefits but after you apply, you would be assigned to an admission counselor who guides you throughout the admission process and clears all doubts. Regarding the application process, there is an entrance exam that wasn't related to the course, it included essay writing on any general knowledge topics. After which there was an interview where they ask basic questions related to the course such as, why did you opt for this course? Who is the father of psychology.
