Likes

Even the crowd is much..though college provides internships and placement to deserving students.
College is located in such a place that everything is accessible to student.
Professors are highly skilled and have a degree from a reputed college

Dislikes

Too much crowd of students dur to High admissions
College do not have a good coding environment.
Lab classes are limited .it should be atleast twice a week.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is far better as compared to other colleges. First year comprised of all subjects...while other colleges have C or c++ we have java which is the most demanding one in today's scenario. It is good enough.

Internships Opportunities

Definitely college provides internships but students often go for off campus..and even grab good opportunities outside. Internships starts from the end of first year.. generally from second year and hence it is good one.

Placement Experience

College placement ofs overall good. It depends upon student's skill and capabilities. It varies from person to person. The average package is 5 lakh per annum. The highest package was approx. 40 lpa. While companies who take mass recruiters come.. companies like Amazon Google Microsoft also come.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is comparitively high as compared to normal private colleges. According to 2023 it was 2,75,000 per annum. From this year scholarships have been started for students after fulfilling the conditions required.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quite good. Library is one of the best things here. Accessibility to library is always available. Clubs are not that active . 2-3 clubs are active. Journalism is good enough. Fests is null here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good enough There are 12 boys hostel and 4 girl hostels. Girls entry time is 6:30 for first year. Nd 7:00 for rest years . Rooms are both ac and non ac according to need of student. Food contains variety( veg and non veg) and has a good quality.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

Admission process consists of entrance exam SAAT and jee mains cutoff. I entered through JEE main. They conduct three times SAAT. I didn't like that the student having a low percentile in SAAT even gets a good branch than the student having good perc. In JEE main.

Faculty

Overall faculty is good. Professors are highly qualified and are from a good reputed institute. Interaction of teachers with students is good. Student can approach teacher for doubts whenever they want. Overall proff. Are good enough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I had also applied for Chandigarh University alongwith my friend we got admission into our desired branches we were also given scholarship of about 70000 on the 175000 tution fees but decided to withdraw because of not so student-friendly environment, transportation issue. The scholarship is given on the basis of CUCET online proctor baes exam conducted by the university itself for admission. In our college the admission process starts from March or April and admission is done in two ways- by giving online SAAT exam, or through JEE Mains result. It continues till the month of August until the vacant seats aren't filled. The overall admission experience is average, after selection you are first required to pay some amount as demand draft to the university in order to confirm your admission. My first impression of the college I chose

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible. Review for Soa national institute of law. Read this before taking admission

I had applied to symbiosis law college, Lloyd law college, Kiit law college. I got confirmed admission from symbiosis law college Noida and Hyderabad I got confirmed from lloyd and kiit as well. I think the most important factor of mine choosing this college is its fees which is quite affordable and the environment here which is quite friendly and non toxic. I just could not clear my CLAT examination. I never got rejection from the college I applied. For admission one need to 1st give CLAT or Soa conduct its own examination called SAAT you need to clear SAAT then you will get offer letter then you need to come to the college on the day given to you for admission and make the admission with the fees provided in the mail only and the methods of making payment.
