Course Curriculum Overview

My intrest in Computer science and Cybersecurity made me choose this course(information technology) it's highly helpful for my career as it covers all the basic and necessary objectives to be start my career as an (ethical hacker). And for the new students joining here the cybersecurity course will also be available here from the next academic year

Internships Opportunities

I still haven't got any internship opportunities so I can't give any fake review for this but as far as I know from the seniors you can reach out to the placement department for the internship opportunities. And they will provide you with details.

Placement Experience

The college placement is really good a great amount of students got placed in a good package. The placements starts coming from the end of 5th semester. Internship opportunities will be given from the 4th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

My few structure is 120000 that's 60k per semester. There isn't any hike since I joined here. As the college got the autonomous status there is a chance of fee hike. But I'm not really sure about it. The scholarship is provided for the students with high cutoff in 12th that's >175 before 2 years. I recommend contacting the management for more details.

Campus Life

The campus life is enjoyable with technical events are conducted often and culturals takes place for a long period of time. The infrastructure provided is really good and can be used to improve our skills

Hostel Facilities

Facilities in the hostel room is quite good and meal could be better and need improvement. The hostel fee is kinda offerdable and the registration process is don't during the college admission. There is also rooms available in locality

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

Admission process was really easy it took less than 30 mins to fill the admission forms. The application fee is around 800 . There isn't any entrance exam to join the college. Admission process usually opens from January or February of each year.

Faculty-to-Student Ratio: The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 15:1. Faculty Credentials and Teaching Approach: most of the staffs have 10+ years experience Every faculty members are highly approachable in academic and career advices

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

The good, the bad and everything in between at Karpagam Institute of Technology

I didn't apply for any other colleges as my high school cutoff was not high enough, but i had 81% result. I chose this college as my cousin was studying in the same university as mine, but different campus. I preferred Karpagam Institute of Technology, as it was the smallest among all the other campus of our university. I preferred a small campus as I am always comfortable with less crowdy environment.
