Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The name itself is enough. Delhi Technological University(DTU) is one of the most established universities in India And among very few tier 1 colleges in India for engineering. The curriculum is very smooth and student-friendly you do not have to deal with immense pressure all the time you can chill and focus on your side goals and hustles easily

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internships are offered to 3rd years only mainly. But its not like you cannot have a intership before 3rd year DTU has a brand name so you can get unofficial internship before 3rd year too. The work is mostly simple and less hectic

Placement Experience

4.5

Delhi Technological University comes under Tier 1 university for engineering so the overall placements are really good for almost every branch if you maintain a good CGPA. Also DTU is known for its reputation of core branches Its mechanical engineering is still considered better than IIT delhi's mech. Highest package offered was around 82 lakhs and avg package is around 23 lakhs which is very good no initially Placement percentage is around 80 percent if you work hard learns skills and maintain a normal CGPA you are guaranteed to get placed in a good company whatever may be the branch

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is I d say not very pocket friendly but is still better than Private colleges. Avg fee is is about 10.5 lakhs I guess excluding tha hostel charges. Scholarship is available for SC/ST students and sometimes for EWS but there are other factors as well. There are many clubs and extra curricular activities. You can enjoy after classes and in between them maybe in sports complex or read a book in library.

Campus Life

5

DTU has one of the best cultural events in the whole country. Its Engi fest is held every year and its a lot better you may think. Last year we had shreya goshal for engi 2023.There are more than 1.5 lakhs books as per my knowledge in our library. Facilities are top notch. Also the sport complrx is quite huge with ever sports available to play may it be tabble tanis badminton volleyball cricket football etc. Clubs and activities has a significant impact on students personality and growth so there are so many options to opt for as per the individuals interests

Admission

Admission process is pretty simple. They consider Joint entrance examination(JEE) Common Rank list (CRL) for admission process. There are 5 rounds of counselling. Also 2 spot rounds after 5 rounds. There reserved seats for OBC/SC/ST and Pwd categories. There are alsl sub categories like Defence, Kashmiri migrants etc(No single girl child quota as there is a separate university(IGDTU) for female candidates only. The only problem with the admission process is documents verification. You have to reach the college for physical document verification and time consumed is way too much.Rest all is good

Faculty

4

They are fully qualified for their jobss. They are firmly educated in thier respective subjects. Many professers have PHD degrees and have qualified many competitive exams to reach here. Over all interaction level is also great

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
