POV:- MY College Experience

I choose Chinese Language because of China's Culture And history and definitely to learn Chinese is so interesting. I Found Chinese Culture so interesting and the tones of chinese language, which lead me to choose Chinese for my further studies. Our department often organised the cultural fest,where we all participate in different events like chinese skit, chinese traditional dance and songs and many more. To learn any foreign language there are 4 parts through we can learn another language that is reading, listening, writing and speaking.As of my experience to learn a foreign language , I think there are lack of speaking classes in colleges,there should be more speaking classes than the writing classes. Because at some point we can do practice of writing in our home, but speaking practice can't be done at home, So I think there should be a period of speaking class in study timetable.

After 5 semester students are eligible for campus placement only. This year only one visited to the campus for chinese language students. My plans are obviously to find a suitable job for me.where I can build my skills and career simultaneously.

Out tution fee for year is 36000, I didn't opt for hostel so I forget about the hostel fees. Overall fee for my course is108000( 3 years) We have the opportunity to apply for scholarships,our department have two scholarship program ,first is to study further in Taiwan and second is to study in china, for both the scholarship we have different exam. For Taiwan Scholarship we have to clear TOCFl BandA and For China's Scholarship we have to clear HSK 3 exam. I recently completed my graduation so this year ,only one company came to the campus,There package was nearly 7 lac per anum,but I wasn't able to clear the interview.

The infrastructure of the university is so impressive Every department conduct a fest after every 6 month one by one.so the students can enjoy the flavour of every field ,like mass Com. ,Chinese , french,Spanish, japnese,German, design departments. There are also a club like singing club as a name of vatsalya club, dance club, and obviously sports club. The library's modern facilities, including quiet study area , group discussion areas,multimedia resources, create a conducive learning environment.

The eligibility criteria to take admission is to pass the entrance exam but sometimes the admission is also on a merit-based list so there is no fixed cut-off. But yes it is like nearly 80%–90%. The exam level are not that difficult whether it is the entrance exam or our course exams. The exam pattern is made like the average rate of students passing the exam. For me, there is no need to change or improve anything in the admission process

At my college, The faculties of my department all are experienced teacher and very good in teaching and interest behaviour. But I really admire that one teacher who always supported us in every situation whther it's our personal or academic related issues.For him, students mental health is the priority then the academics.His teaching methods is so engaging. Apart from Chinese, I learned so many things and manners from him . Our whole class is so nice that we all are like friends with the facilities we often do get together meetings.
