What Students Say

Likes

Good placements with about 70-80% of students getting placed
Most students get a chance of internship
Iter has a decent infrastructure and a well maintained campus

Dislikes

There is no playground for playing ( only buildings)
Placements at SOA for civil engineering is not that good because a very few companies visit our campus to recruit students.
The back papers are quite expensive like per back paper 2500 rupees

Course Curriculum Overview

I got into this field because there is a large job opportunity in software industry in today's world. This college provides good enough knowledge for real world applications. There should be more time given to teach after mid semester exams as after mid semester the teachers are in hurry to finish the course as there's always less time left for end semester exam. The exam questions are quite good starting from low to high level questions.

Course Fees: INR 380000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester, students can get placements. Some of the common companies that comes for campus recruitment include IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and so on. Highest package till now is 42 LPA and average package is 6 LPA. 60% gets placed easily. My plan is to do MBA from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

They are increasing tution fees every year. You have to almost spend like 380000 every year including tution fees, hostel feee and eating fees and on other things. There are no scholarships for students

Campus Life

There is one auditorium for festivals but hardly it occurs as there is a huge students and only one small auditorium . There is a large central library in college which has many books . Every class has ac but sometimes it doesn't work and also current may come and go. There is a basketball ground and also u can play other sports.

Hostel Facilities

There is cupboard , a table , a chair and a bed for each student. The amount of staying in hostel depends on that are staying with AC or non AC. If you are staying in non-AC then per year 90000/- and if AC it crosses 1 lakhs. The meals are made very oily and the taste is very bad. If you want to stay in hostel you have to come in college for registration.

Admission

You should have good marks in JEE for admission in CSE branch. You can get online in SOA official website about the application form , fees and application dates. If you are sc/st you will get benifit And there's no need to improve on timing of exam and admission process

Faculty

Faculty members in our college are well-qualified and PhD holders. The teachers are very good , they are always ready to clear our doubts. Even you can clear your doubts personally by messaging in WhatsApp to a teacher.

Interview Experience

There is no interview for admission . Just have good marks in JEE , you will definitely get admission . You can also qualify by appearing in college's own Exam SAT. If you score good you will get admission

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I had also applied for Chandigarh University alongwith my friend we got admission into our desired branches we were also given scholarship of about 70000 on the 175000 tution fees but decided to withdraw because of not so student-friendly environment, transportation issue. The scholarship is given on the basis of CUCET online proctor baes exam conducted by the university itself for admission. In our college the admission process starts from March or April and admission is done in two ways- by giving online SAAT exam, or through JEE Mains result. It continues till the month of August until the vacant seats aren't filled. The overall admission experience is average, after selection you are first required to pay some amount as demand draft to the university in order to confirm your admission. My first impression of the college I chose

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible. No i didnt get any rejection from any college i applied. The admission process includes online application which is free of cost. Review for Soa national institute of law. Read this before taking admission

I had applied to symbiosis law college, Lloyd law college, Kiit law college. I got confirmed admission from symbiosis law college Noida and Hyderabad I got confirmed from lloyd and kiit as well. I think the most important factor of mine choosing this college is its fees which is quite affordable and the environment here which is quite friendly and non toxic. I just could not clear my CLAT examination. I never got rejection from the college I applied. For admission one need to 1st give CLAT or Soa conduct its own examination called SAAT you need to clear SAAT then you will get offer letter then you need to come to the college on the day given to you for admission and make the admission with the fees provided in the mail only and the methods of making payment.
