DEI, MA, English + Bachelor Of Education

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

For the course curriculum it is very comprehensive and relevant in terms of the subject matter because the courses are made by keeping in mind the increasing competition of the day-to-day life. In some courses syllabus might be in a concise and compact form but the brevity will not affect the students' horizon to be shortened. For the exams, DEI has open book system as it has been applied this current year only, so on one hand it has become easy for the students to acquire good grades but on the other students need to use their brains as direct questions aren't asked. Questions are being made tricky purposefully so that students don't only copy but also can give their own interpretation and understanding about the matter.

Fees and Financial Aid

DEI is really a budget-friendly college. Whereas other colleges charge thousands and lakhs for a single course DEI is very affordable. Only the tuition fee has to be paid there are no other additional charges for anything. DEI also provides scholarship facilities for needy students.

Campus Life

3.5

DEI is not meant for fests, or funky celebration. Educational workshops, science exhibition, technical exhibitions ofcourse take place but DEI doesn't conduct celebrations like freshers or farewells. Each department of DEI has it's own libraries so avid readers and scholars won't have to worry about that. Classrooms are well equipped with modern technological advancements. Extracurricular activities and sports are well arranged in DEI. Students run social groups, clubs and portals for educational purposes. Groups are not harmful but it rather increases the creative horizon of the students instead.

Admission

Eligibility for the degrees such as Bachelor of Arts, Social science, commerce and science is 55% - 60% maximum. Application forms can be found on the official website of DEI. Further fee and dates related to exams are informed by the management itself there on the website only. Exams are neither difficult not so easy. One needs to have a good knowledge in one's area of interest. There's no such improvement required for the admission process overall.

Faculty

3.5

Professors are well qualified and knowledgeable for real. They're willing to teach the students not like the professors of other colleges who don't have zeal to teach the students. Professors are supportive, helpful and understanding. In some cases experiences may differ. Overall wherever students need the help of Professors they willingly come forward to guide and help. Student's ratio is better than enough. The classes are not overcrowded with a lot number of students. Students are well-proportionated.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.
