What Students Say

Likes

I liked the discipline of the college very strict.
Best sports teams of AKTU for sure, football, volleyball, kabaddi, etc

Dislikes

Waking up at 8.30 to attend first lecture
The labs can be majorly improved to be honest
Some of the college faculty don't want to teach at all

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is AKTU designed which can be updated according to recent market requirements. Now they have added specialized courses for separate IT branches too. Exams go as follows: A couple of term tests, followed by pre-university and then University exams every semester.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will be forced to get an internship by the 5th semester and if not the college will arrange everything in its entirety to provide you with an opportunity. Every year end you have to complete a major or minor project compulsory.

Placement Experience

The placement was ok during the recession year but in general one of the best placements around Delhi NCR. Mass hiring was done by DXC, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc. whereas a few companies such as Deloitte, Amazon, and Microsoft also visited before the recession year. The highest package of 2022 was 1.12 crore. Whereas the average package is around 400000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple 120000 at the start of the year as college fee and approx 100000 for hostel every year. Consider spending approx 8-9 lakhs for the four years you stay. The Govt. Scholarships are the only scholarship provided. Placement is one of the best in the area.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life will be mostly around friends and sports as there are hardly any fests except for freshers and farewells in the college. There will be technical things organized but your best chance is participating in the dance groups, sports teams, music, etc, and visiting multiple IITs, etc.

Admission

You must give JEE MAINS now at my time to get CS/IT in the college the rank in UPSEE must be good so I am assuming scoring good marks in JEE MAINS is very important... Once you clear jee mains you can apply online which is easy and straightforward you can apply for branch preferences.

Faculty

4.5

Most of them are highly educated individuals. Some of the teachers such as first yer teachers are extremely good in teaching too. My maths teacher was extremely good at his work. Teachers mostly hold responsibilities of helping students complete their projects and most of them help student individually if required.

If you're in lucknow, Look no further.

Likes

The looks of the campus are stunning. Open fields and everything
Events are hosted weekly, allowing everyone to participate and host
Extracurricular activities are well respected

Dislikes

In a secluded area of Lucknow. Hostel recommended

Placement Experience:

Our Placement packages are pretty low online. It's primarily because every course, High tier, Low tier gets an on campus placement. Computer science has a very good placement ratio. People who don't get placements ussually are the ones who didn't even apply. Around id say 80 percent people get placements and my plans are to look off campus.

My Experience at Sanskriti University: Campus Life, Academics and Opportunities

Likes

The course offers a good foundation in computer science and AI, with opportunities to improve technical skills.
Campus life provides opportunities to make friends, interact with classmates, and develop communication skills.

Dislikes

More practical sessions, live projects, and industry-oriented training are needed to improve student skills.
Placement preparation, internship opportunities, and career guidance could be improved for better job prospects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose CSE (AI & ML) because of my interest in artificial intelligence and computer science. The curriculum provides basic technical knowledge for higher studies and career opportunities. More practical sessions, real-world projects, internships, and interactive teaching would improve learning. Internal assessments and semester exams require regular preparation, and difficulty varies by subject.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
