Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is like any other govt college, the core subjects are outdated and lack practical knowledge. Although new courses in the domain of finance, economics, and physics have been introduced by the humanities dept as additional subjects that can be chosen. The frequency of examination is once every 2.5 months if mid-sem exams are considered. Teaching methods are very theory-oriented, labs are just for the sake of completing credits, thus failing to ignite the passion for engineering in a student

Internships Opportunities

5

Companies like microsoft, jp morgan, mckinsey, amex, JP CADP, goldman Sachs are among some of the prominent recruiters Stipends well over 75k are offered. Further more companies which offered lesser stipend also offered several oppurtunities

Placement Experience

5

Got a good oppurtunity for my internship at Mckinsey and company, but the PPO was revoked and then good oppurtunities werent provide for my placement. 50% student were places this year, Last year this was around 80%

Fees and Financial Aid

For general students, the tution fee is 85000 per semester. and some other security deposits as well. various financial aids are available for students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, BPL, and EWS as well as female candidates and branch toppers along with rank openers.

Campus Life

4.5

PECFEST is the annual fest Cultural clubs and tech societies are very active Nd create a very active atmosphere in the college. Sports faccilities are decent, theres just the issue of timing that very strinngent

Admission

Eligibility is standard govt engineering notice. I did not avail of any reservation, but standard certificates issued by the appropriate authority are required. Jee mains is the exam so a decent level of difficulty.

Faculty

2

Faculty to student ratio. The old faculty that has been in the college for over 10 years is decent and holds good credentials but the newly recruited faculty is at best sub par and often lacks at very communication skills. The same is the case for approachability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course cirriculum is good it is designed in perfect manner. Course contains all good subjects which give us knowledge and real life experience like how life goes and what problems are going to happen and how to solve them in real life . Although teaching is good but i must say we should be given some more practical knowledge so that we can relate more imaith real life. Exams are of moderate level not easy not difficult if you have done your studies in a good and thorough manner.

Placement Experience:

The policy says that by the last year of the course students are eligible for campus placement but things have been a lot different in the pandemic. This college has been visited by Google, Microsoft, Reliance, and Infosys on a regular basis. After my master's I plan to continue my study for Ph.D. The mentors here especially the HOD has always offered great insight into my ideas of communication that I wish to explore.

Admission:

Because of my assured placement, I get admission to this university. They have great infrastructure and they give huge exposure to great MNC industries as well as foreign study experience by the semester exchange program. There is a lot of things that they teach to upgrade our technical skills as well as some value added courses the provide like start-ups support, patent support and funding support and many more which helps us to make our future better.

Remarks:

Yes, if you want to study hard and focus on M.E only then this college is good enough but if you just want to roam around don't take admission here, you have to attend lecture's and be on time here. You have to work on your thesis on time as well. All the Best !

This is one of the fineat Institutes I have been associated with. Having graduated from NIT and taught at a Govt Institute, this one ranks the best by far. The faculty has a vast on and off field experience that brings life into otherwise boring classroom lectures.
