Likes
- All the aspects of this university are good . We can find everything that is needed there. The fee that is being charged is reasonable. The staff is also highly qualified. Also if we talk about the infrastructure, it is being developed day by day
- We get to participate in my cultural activities. Youth is being organised by the university. Also we have gotten chance to govto nagionals
- Greenary is there . We have parks, plants and trees in our campus.
Dislikes
- The process related to documents take alot of time.
- Non teaching staff needs to be improved. More people should be recruited as there is more workload
Course Curriculum Overview
There were a lot of curriculum activities like dance, acting, singing, music, mime, and theater. Everything was there. We got many benefits by performing this. I personally was a performer. And that university increased my confidence on stage. Everything in the curriculum was so good.
Internships Opportunities
I got no internship. Internship is provided to some professional courses only. And placements are also not provided here . But recently there's a change some companies are being approached by the university for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is quite reasonable. They charge 12-13k per semester for UG courses. And the fee structure for PG courses is so low. They charge 4-6k for PG courses. Also, they provide scholarships to needy students and to lower caste students every year. And if any student need concessions they just wrote an application to the vice chancellor and they got the concession too. I guess 10,000 is provided every year to lower caste students. Also, they give refreshments to the participants. But the rate of refreshment is quite low.
Campus Life
Firstly a talent hunt competition is organised for mew students to see and encourage their talent for youth festival. After that youth festival is being organised in october/ november. We kust need to have a library card and we can visit there easily and get books issued. Nss ncc camps are also there.
Admission
You must need to have atleast 50% marks in tour previous course to get admitted. Also admission is based on merit list. The cut off ur ug courses goes to 90% and pg courses80%. Also remaining student get chance to get admission in physical counselling and after that one more chance is given to them which is first vome first serve. Application form is given on the site of the university. Application fee varies from gender to gender and caste to caste. I belong general category being a girl paid 350 rupees on admission fee. The admission process is little lengthy that can be resolved.
Faculty
The teaching staff of Chaudhary devi lal university is very good. They all are experienced and highly qualified. Also, we get to interact with the teacher whenever we want. Teachers are so supportive. My learning experience personally was so good that I got to score good marks there.
