Likes

Infrastructure is very good and the environment is very positive.
Many events are being organised throughout the year for the students
Placement are being provided at highest level

Dislikes

Mess area becomes very crowded when all the students come together
Parking area is not very good as there is not enough space for vehicles
Attendance is strictly compulsory and mandatory for all students as well as fees..

Course Curriculum Overview

As many students are walking through CSE and ai so the crowd becomes too much.. I have decided to choose data science. There are several workshop classes and personality development classes. And technical classes to make the students industry ready.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, autodesk, Adobe, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, Byjus, etc visit our campus for hiring Many mass recruitment company also visit our campus for hiring. The internship period is around 6 months after the internship period PPO is being offered to the students.

Placement Experience

The placement process starts from the starting of the 4th year. Almost 90% of the students gets placed in various companies. The highest package is around 45 laks and the average package is around 7 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees paid is around 1.3 lakhs including all the facilities provided by the institution during the course. Hostel allowances is also available for the students with excellent facilities including gym services and laundry , food etc.....

Campus Life

There are many clubs available in the campus students can these clubs according to their interest Many mass communication events are being organised by the students. Many welfare activities are being conducted by the college.

Admission

The addmission process was very simple I have just visited the campus and I got admission.. For taking admission we have to go early as the seats get full very fast. They also provide loan facility for the students.

Faculty

The faculties are highly qualified and experienced. Many faculties come from the IT background to teach us for our placement. For academic we have many PhD holders who teach us at their highest level of teaching

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.
