Course Curriculum Overview

My course is BTech in CSE about which you already know how many opportunities it has. You can easily get placements in it because it is in demand right now and you get more opportunities to go out in CSE. It is the dream of every student to take CSE.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about internship. But I know that internship here is very good. I had a friend who was senior and he thought that internship college gives you full facilities. If you study well, you will get out comfortably

Placement Experience

Placement is decent here, average package in BTech CSE is 7.7 lakh per annum. College will also provide you internship, CSE has many career opportunities here, placement is my choice Placements as far as I know last year was 7.7 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester here is 140000 for my course which is BTech CSE, you will get scholarship easily, there are many types of scholarships here like scholarship thorough jee mains percentile , scholarship through boards percentage cut score etc etc. The most important and easiest way to get scholarship is university exam that is LPUNEST conducted by lovely professional university you can easily avail the schollership upto 40-50%.

Campus Life

Campus life here is very good, people from almost 50+ countries are here, so you will get a chance to explore more, this campus has almost 600+ acres, so if you find it boring then you can explore campus easily. The university will also help you in different activities like sports, singing, dancing, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite big, there is a hostel on almost 10 floors and there are 50+ rooms on each floor. You will get all the facilities in the hostel itself like ATM, grocery shop, hair cutting shop etc. Here you will get rooms ranging from 1 seater to 5 seater, I have a 4 seater non AC so its price is 80000 per year, food is also quite decent in the mess

Admission

The admission process is quite simple. You have to go to their official website and register for LPUNEST. After registering, if you want a scholarship, you have to take the exam for scholarship. This university gives you two chances to get scholarship in LPUNEST and whichever of the two is the best, you will get the scholarship on that basis, then you will have to come here and report.

Faculty

The faculty here is very good, they are well educated, if anyone needs any help in studies, they will do it easily. The language of study is mainly English, it is in simple language only, there is no problem . In my group there are 30 students, sometimes two groups study together and the total becomes 50-60 . there is no problem

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
