- Teachers are supportive and have good knowledge about all the necessary computer languages that are needed
- There are large number of labs available for all the practical subjects and the Teachers assigned are also helping
- There are also various clubs available which are dedicated to computer skills to enhance
Dislikes
- Infrastructure needs to be better as some of the computers in the labs are not in the very good condition
- Number of students enrolled are very large and the computers in 1 lab is less in comparison
- Teachers sometimes takes the routine labs classes very casually and do not take care of what students are actually doing on computers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The specific decision that influenced to choose the scores towards the variety of languages that were taught in the whole duration including many other computer based systems. In spite of some theory subjects curriculum can be improved by involving more of practical knowledge . The frequency of exams is on monthly basis where during a 4 month semester two exams were of 40 mark sheets and then the final exam of 100 marks takes place.
Placement Experience
College provides the placement opportunity during third year of the graduation. A training program known as campus recruitment training takes place which prepare students for the interview rounds and also revise there basic language which is needed for applying in any job the placements now after the training will occur during September to December where various companies will come to the college to higher students for both the internship and placement support.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is rupees 100000 per year and the admission fees of 10000 was charged during the time of admission this fees remains same throughout the duration of whole graduation but is increasing for new admissions. This scholarship is provided on the basis of 12th score if you have scored 80% + for even semesters and to continue these scholarship you need to score 8 + CGPA and maintain 75% attendance throughout. Rs 100000 fees includes the tuition fee development lab and every other fee.
Campus Life
Do overall facilities in the college are good are specific which are required by the students the clubs are of large importance in the university as there are various clubs including social work club educational clubs event events club and many others as per the interest of the students. Sports facilities in the college are also good and also impact the skills and learnings of the students. The campus has a lots of green rev which provides a mental peace.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are decent they provide apartment style hostels where each student gets there own personal room with a single bed almirah and chair and disc for the study. The mess food is also decent. Providing four time meals including breakfast lunch snacks and dinner the menu also changes per week. Also near the college there are various PGS and flats available for students conveniently
Admission
I choose the college because of the opportunity of various opportunities of learning different languages of computers and being a engineering College JECRC University is a good choice for doing BCA. Various clubs also fascinated the choice such as makerspace which provides the interest of student. There is no entrance exam for this undergraduation course but the eligibility was 60% + in class 12th.
Faculty
There are good number of faculties available for BCA course. Faculties are also approachable in their cabins and also on mobile phones on the case of emergency. Exams are of moderate level not very easy not difficult depends on the command that you have on your language. In initial time when languages are new to students there are chances of the students who are not able to clear the exams but later get gaining command makes the preparation easier. The curriculum is relevant as it covers various languages including python Java clus plus etc during the whole graduation
