I applied for the GP women's college before I apply for the college I'm currently studying in. I opted for the college I'm studying is because it is closer to my house and is convenient to walked also if there is no public transportation going nearby. Until now, I didnt get rejected from any college I applied for. I gave up another opportunity to study of bachelor of architectural engineering because there is no college or university in our state offering this major or degree and I don't want to leave my parents again as I have in hostels since 6 grade. Since, my college is a medical college, admission was done through selection according to merit list released by the Directorate of health services, Manipur. On councelling day, those who are eligible and available has the opportunity to chose the college according to the order in the merit list. On the same day, admission slip is given and admission can be done starting onwards within a limited time period. Requirements are basic like the class 10 and 12 certificates, Health report, provisional certificates etc. Yes, there is a cut off for every college. Reservation benifit is there, at my time, around 48 seats were reserved for ST category alone, around 20 seats for OBC and around 10 for SC category, 2 for people with disabilities, 1 for Sports , around 3 for OBC(MP), 1 for another OBC(T) and the rest were general seats . The NEET UG exam takes place only once in a year, overall the questions are not very difficult as such, but you'll be attempting 180 questions under 3 hours....Read More
