What Students Say

Likes

Good infrastructure with air conditioner in every class
There are so many things to explore and learn

Dislikes

There are no perfect lecturers for teaching
There are no placements these days in lpu
There are so many restricted rules in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Our curriculum is very effective and relevant. Our curriculum includes every subject and languages which are useful for our future bases. They also give us training for the interview. We also have language labs

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

From 3rd year we are eligible to attend the interviews, there are many big companies that are hiring freshers in our college for eg: amazon, Microsoft, google. Every year there is an average package of 10lpa and the highest package is 3cr in our college. Those who got 6.5 cgpa or more are eligible for the interview. After getting the degree we can get our jobs easily, because of the value of certificate and our skills that are teached at the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2022 my fee was Registeration fee-10000 Exam fee-8000/yr 120000/sem 240000/yr 70000- hostel fee Highest scolership-40% But now it is Registeration fee-15000 Exam fee-8000 140000/sem 280000/yr Highest scolership is 30%

Campus Life

The allover experience in this college is very great. We have a block named student welfare wing . In that block we have all clubs open for all the students. Every year we have an event called one india one world which is one of the biggest event in lpu.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities that they have provided are good. If we have any problem in our they will solve them in one day. The meal and menu is not that good. So near campus we have alot of pg facilities so we can take a pg with good food

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Especially I am for South part of the indian we have so many top rated college's but i choose lpu because of the fee structure and all the facilities they are providing at this cost and they are giving good packages

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 20:70 The relationship between faculty and students is very good and healthy. Faculty is very supportive. My favorite faculty is ashish sir he thought his subject vey effectively

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
