I choose this college because of the location and the timing was also good . the infrastructor was good and the reviews were also given good but i got selected in good colleges like NMIMS hyderabad but couldn't make it as the location was really far from my home and also the list was declared late as i was in waiting. the admission process was really easy and smooth. the office members were helpfull. 70% was the cutoff for this college for b.com students and there was no admission exams conducted...Read More

I choose this college because this college is one of the really good colleges out there in Kolkata. Also, bhawanipur education society, Kolkata is highly reputed and occupies a place under Calcutta university. I always wanted to go to Kolkata to persue my higher studies, as I'm from a commerce background and Kolkata is a hub for commerce students. The reason for choosing bhawanipur education society over other colleges was that alongwith the course-related studies it also provides with the overall development of personality. It provides us with a lot of exposure to sports, and etc. Also, the attendence criteria are quite lenient, which helps the students to pursue other courses alongwith. I chose this college above any other college because this is one of the best colleges of Calcutta university. And since, I'm pursuing CA course along with my BCOM Hons, the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient which will help me to focus on my CA course in a better way. The merits of this college are - 1) the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient 2) these teachers here are very helpful and supportive when it comes to doubt solving. 3) this college provides us with various co-curricular activities like sports and etc. 4) the campus placement opportunities are very high at this college.
