- There course duration is so small. They try to cover the syllabus so fast. How a student can learn DSA, C++ in 3 months.?
- Many teachers don't teach properly. They just clear simple topics
Course Curriculum Overview
In todays world Engineering is a well known and respectful job and due to which i was influenced to take this course. In this course they don't only teach us technical skills but also communication skills to crack interview and deal with the real world. As per the improvement part i would suggest that course duration should be increase by 1 month. And the frequency and timing of exam is good for me
Internships Opportunities
Hitachi, tcs and coding nijas like companies give internship to the students and for the stipend i am not sure that how much they give cause i am a 2nd year student. The projects are related to cse field.
Placement Experience
In my college student can apply for placement from the end of 3rd year. The companies which come for placement are hitachi, tcs, capgemini, coding ninja etc and average package is 4 LPA and highest was 64 LPA. 40% of students get placed. I am going to do higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
I have joined the college in 2023 , at that time our tution fees for per sem was 1.2 L and there is a scholarship test called as LPUNEST . Due to this i got 30% scholarship for my whole course. It vary from 25 - 30 % on the basis of result. Our advance payment for registration was 10k . There is 100% scholarship for sports students who have achieved a medal in nationals and they also provide loan and scholarship of 20% for army brats. Also from this year the course fee is increased to 1.4L for one sem for freshers.
Campus Life
I love the events held in the college like dj nights , one india event and car shows. We have a huge library where almost we can get every kind of books. We have smart tv and ac in all the classes. And the best is sports events in which any student can take part and showcase their talent.
Hostel Facilities
We are charged 80k per year for 4 - seater non-ac room in which we get bed, matteres, study tabel, cooler, almira, attached washroom and toilet, geyser, fan , light and chair. Meal quality is average but also unlimited. We have to complete the fee deposit before coming to the college.
Admission
I have already decided to take admission in this college if i don't get the govt college. As this is the best private college in India with amazing campus life. My jee score was low due to which i can't get admission in govt college. I give the entrance test called as LPUNEST
Faculty
The relationship between student and teacher is good and we can also approach them in the class as well as in their cabin aslo. I like the faculty of PEL ( soft skills and communication ) though they are very polite and friendly towards student where as the faculty of star courses like python, C and DSA they are always in the angry mood it may because they have to teach a very hard subject but i personally don't like them. In lpu there are 1 mid sem and one end sem exam our coding subject are on online platform like neo colab and rest are mcqs with negative marking of 0.25 mark. And there is also CA class assessment exam which are 3-4 per subject. Only 2-3% of student fail to clear exams.
