What Students Say

Likes

I like my college placements as they provide many opportunities
They give alot of opportunities for placement as the placement for all the sinhgad campus is common
The location is perfect, other colleges are far away from the city, this is just 10-12 kms away from shivaji nagar

Dislikes

Nothing

Course Curriculum Overview

College follows the Curriculum of Savitri Bai Phule University, there are 5 subjects in each semester, Although Subjects for 1st year is same for all branches

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunities are plenty for our college as many companies such as BNY , BMC , PTC , PUBMATIC, JTP etc come for internships in college and the PPO they provide is also good. However I would suggest start applying for internships via LinkedIn and Glassdoor too

Placement Experience

Companies start to visit the campus in 3rd year onwards , big and high playing companies come in 3rd year last sem and 4th year 1st semester, the average package is around 4 lakhs and almost 2000 students gets placed every year out of 3500

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for college is 1,10,000 and for SBC category it is around 20,000 for 1st year and 13,000 for remaining 3 years ,and for Sc category fees is around 3000 and for OBC fees is 50% of 1,10,000, The hostel fees has to be paid full in advance

Campus Life

3.5

Many amenities and facilities are available at campus , sports , gym , swimming pool, 24 hour library, many fests are organised by colleges, sinhgad karandak is one of the biggest fest organised by our college

Hostel Facilities

4 person per room is accommodation for the hostel there are number of hostels in campus, hostel and mess are included in package of 75,000/year and food is average, not recommended. However hostel have water 24/7 and drinking water, table chair, and a bed along with washroomand bathroom attached seperately for each room

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

I got into college as I had less score in mht cet , I wanted Scoe but due to less marks I had to settle for nbnstic. Although I didn't face any problem while getting admission into my college , the admission was smooth

Faculty

Faculty members are not as good as SCOE and SKNCOE, they lack skills and just read the PPT and don't give proper explanation, they just cry for attendance , however , the placement cell is very supportive

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

A comprehensive review of NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering

I got admission in this college through MHTCET CAP rounds counselling. Sinhgad Institute is already a well-known and well-reputed institution in Pune. You'll have to attempt the MHTCET exam and get a good score, preferably over 90 percentile to get a good branch or your preferred branch in this college. There are also All India seats allotted through JEE score. I had applied for other reputed colleges of Pune as well, such as VIT, PICT, and PCCOE but my percentile in MHTCET wasn’t enough to pass the cut off for the branch that I wanted in those colleges....Read More
