- Hackathon aren't conducted that is a major drawback but this year they are conducting a national level hackathon hope they continue this event once a year
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed here is taken as designed from vishveshwarayya technological university as this college comes under vtu. But it is autonomous college that is alone extra advantage The curriculum is perfect for the course taken They prepare us by perfectly blending the course with curriculum As we enter 2nd year of btech the course entry starts and we will be thaught with respect to course for the rest 3 years The area of improvement i think as it is from vtu Vtu should delete the unnessacary and outdated topics and introduce new trending languages There will be sem end exam of the course for every 5.5 months and they are moderately difficult
Internships Opportunities
Tge internships are provided in campus when we enter 3rd year The companies offering internships are mainly Infosys and TCS We have to complete a project that would impress the selectors before applying
Placement Experience
The students will be eligible to placements from 6th sem. Our college provides good placements and provide an average package of 7lpa. Over 80 companies visit our college like TCS, tech Mahindra, Infosys, capegemini etc Highest package recorded this year was 33 lpa 100% of the students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise tution fee if u come from kcet is 100k which is regulated by KCET. If u opt for management quota admission the fee will be 200k per year with donation. Examination fee will be within 1.5k to 2k Registration fee will be only when u take admission to first year of be and they will charge 10k around The is no development fees, lab fees and other fees like other colleges There is snq quota for admissions via kcet where the fee will be around 40k a year The scholarships that we get are ssp from govt
Campus Life
There is no shortage for fests in this college They conduct a grand fest called samskriti And there will be lot of branch fests going on And there are clubs related to coding, fests, dancing, singing, there is a karting club too.... The sports will be conducted on every fests including branch fests The main sporting event with more number of competitors in main event i.e samskriti And main note is ragging free campus
Admission
I choose this college because many of my relatives are alumni of it And they all succeeded and having a good life The study environment in the college is good The campus is ragging free that's another advantage The college is an autonomous institution I joined this college through kcet Yeah, i thaught of joining dayanand sagar college but my cet rank didn't allow me to And I got seat in this college and I am happy though
Faculty
The faculty here is well experienced and they are all talented and are interactive with the students I personally like Jayalakshmi mam who is one of the maths faculty and she thaught us calculus and that's the first time I learnt calculus They conduct two internal exams for 25 marks each... If the sum of 2 internal exams doesn't touch 20 then they will give makeup internal exam.... After the internals they conduct sem end exams. As internals are only two and are for 25 marks each securing good cgpa is difficult. 8 cgpa here equals 9 cgpa in other colleges. The sem end papers are moderate. Few students fail to clear the exams. The curriculum is perfect for the course
