The faculties are good and encouraging . Their expertise helps students in many ways .
The campus is real deal, there are plethora of greenery and good vibe .
The placements are good , many of my seniors have been placed from LPU to some big MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was always fond of science and Agriculture in specific. Agriculture includes everything in it , i.e , fundamentals of plant biotechnology and biochem, agronomy , about soil , agricultural economic, etc . All of these subjects makes BSc. Agriculture (Hons) more enjoyable and knowledgeable for me .

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty good according to the course , it includes everything and sums it up for around 960000 . This includes admission fee, lab fee, registration fee , tuition fees . The scholarship is LPUNEST it allows student to get admission if he/she gets equal or greater marks than the cuttoff

Campus Life

The campus life at LPU is amazing as people love in socialising and hanging out with each other . There are alot of events happening around the campus like sufi night, art and culture , entrepreneurship programmes ,student orientations etc .Everything here is quite perfect if may say it like that , Library here is one of the precious kind.

Admission

I chose this college as I have a few relatives near college so it is convenient for me to attend classes amd be on time daily and the course that i want is good and pretty elaborate here with great chances of being placed after graduating from here.The admission process was also quite simple I searched online researched eveything about it , then one fine day called the college for enquiry and got all my doubts regarding admission very clear and later on admission process was smooth like butter for me .

Faculty

The faculties really have a good experience ,they help the students in reaching the desired goal and help them in any kind of dilemma. There is quite a less number of failures in class.The course offers various opportunities for students to flourish in their field . The facult to student ratio is normal as usual and the teachers share quite a good and sometimes very strict relationship with each other.

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

An honest review

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation. Additionaly the sheer vol of students taking admissions so such a massive batch size for resources and individual attention can be stressful compared to smaller, state label collages....Read More

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
