What Students Say

Likes

A lot of events are happening. In every week there will be event
The potential of the college is very high
The network and connection we get from this college is insane

Dislikes

A lot of students are there in computer science. So competition is high
As I am from Kerala, language issue is a problem for me
Lack of holidays here. Holidays are too less

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate it 8 out of 10. It is almost okay, but as I am having low base in my previous studies, I am suffering from that. Overall. It's a good experience and yeah it's almost worth the price I'm paying

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In this college we have Google kind and ship and many other programs too. We have many projects like kalvium which is a project conducted by a Google placed staff which offers internships to students in various companies like Wipro etc

Placement Experience

4.5

That is a good placements happening here. The maximum placement got from the college student is three crore. The average placement earned by the CSE students is like 12.5 lakhs and all. If we are having skills and potential we will be having enough placement otherwise we will suffer as we are having a lot of students

Fees and Financial Aid

1 lakh 40,000 is the exact amount for per semester but I am having 1 lakh. 5, 000 as my fees because I'm having phase 2 scholarship. There are three phase of scholarships and I am having the second phase

Campus Life

4.5

In canvas life it's a wonderful experience and interest by saying this campus of 600 acres more. It's a huge campus. I personally haven't seen many parts of this campus. It's a huge massive campus and many events are happening here consistently. Overall a good campus and a good atmosphere

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities LPU provide is also the best. We are having a good hostel and I have to choosed AC hostel. With three time male mass for my hostel I'm paying 90,000 rupees and extra 36,000 is paid for my mess

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

As comparing to other colleges, the potential we are having in lovely professional University is so high. We are having a lot of placement. A lot of events and also a lot of network here. We are able to do many things and we also have foreign affairs

Faculty

Faculties are okay here. They will be CA happening. There will be 3 CA in that best two will be choosed and also we will have midterm and endterm examination. Faculties are overall okay, but the language is an issue that I found here

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
