Remarks

As it is a new college there is many problem but the main problem is union's dishonesty they are not really doing anything good for the college just doing dirty politics and filling their pocket in money in admission time or other special occasions this t

Entrance Preview

I scored 65% in h.s and after showing that number on admission i got selected for this particular course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The faculty is good but the lab fees is high of cost maybe not bearable for everyone, there 2 lab with greatapparatus there are 4 sir and 1 madam in our dept helpful friendly and really try to teach us something innovative which is not in the syllabus

Internships Opportunities

It is a general college so their no companies come for campus.but it's true that many of our graduated students got high rank in many companies after graduating from this college this college is really good for education and our faculty is rally nice if someone interested in computer science he can definitely join this dept. and can learn something really good for his carrear.

Placement Experience

4

As it is a general stream so i have to study for higher degree to get placements, but my target is to take part on the govt. jobs exam. Because maybe i am on a technical line but govt. job gives us security and my target always to get a govt. job which has a decent salary, maybe companies have better opportunity and big salary though i didn't like those

College Events

3.5

Only fresher's welcome party get arrange every year and saraswatti pujo organised every year and i am studying about 2 year i have never seen any technical cultural or management festival got organised sad thing but in our dept. we organize a little cultural event in teacher's day every year we decorate the whole dept. including lab invite sirs and madams our friend perform some there curricular activities and in the end a short food party get arrange

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is no hostel facility because this college is new and it is also small. But there some new building developing in beside of the college canteen hope there will be some thing new will happen on those buildings as because all students are local students maybe there is no need of hostel rooms students come to college by train cycle bikes or their private cars. If there some new hostel system get developed it will be perfect.

Campus Life

4

Yes annual sports get organised every year, there are no such extracurricular lab bad thing for us ,gender ratio is 1:1 (not surly know 100%) campus life is really enjoying because in our dept. there are really some good helpful friendly students overall i am happy with the campus and college life maybe there so much problems but it's okey because the college is new and there many building constructing for further developments

Alumni/Alumna

We all friends and seniors connect our-self via facebook and other social network services seniors are really honest and helpfull they always try to help us as well as freinds

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
