The liberty to the students in the college is good

I always have a love for taking the computer science engineering this is what made me take this course . Also this curriculum has a wide range of opportunities which will be helpful for the future of students

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 205000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are some internship opportunities which we have got like Intel unnati, Salesforce and KPIT which did not offer a stipend but it will be helpful for students to build there resume as they provide certificates .

Placement Experience

There are placement opportunities in the college but the students are not getting selected for any company till now only oracle has hired 5 students. But the rest of students are not getting any good opportunities the hiring is not good

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid the fees of 156000 where the original fee when I joined was 205000 as I got 25 percent scholarship. And the hostel fee is different from the college fee which ki 120000. But now the fee structure is different and it got raised heavily for the students who have joined this year the fee for college is 300000 excluding the hostel fee . There are some scholarships which can be availed by writing GAT exam which entrance exam conducted by GITAM also alumni scholarship is also there

Campus Life

The events happening in the college is very less there will be no events happening only just a small workshops are compititions will be conducted. There will no annual events also even when the student clubs wanted to conduct also the management will not support for the budget and they will not even cancel the classes

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good as the mess food have variety of options to choose and the food is good too.The fee of hostel is 120000 but now think it has increased to 135000.The facilities in hostel are good

Admission

I have Applied for Amritha university but I didn't get the seat there because of the results of entrance exam . So I joined GITAM UNIVERSITY as I got a scholarship there of 25 percent and fee structure is also less compared to Amritha

Faculty

The faculties are really interactive and the relationship between the two is always good. The exam structure is the internals are for 70 marks and external exam is for 30 marks. The academics is not that strict here this will be convenient for students

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

Good college, I have ever

I would rate 5 out of 5. I specially enjoyed being involved in activities like ego and Rns, which made my college life more engaging. College provides good atmosphere, and I got good friendship in the college.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
