My holistic experience in UMIT

i love the courses i've not regretted any course they're all fun to study and i've got a lot of programming languages to learn in just 1 year. The teachers are cooperative as well so it's fun to study

we get internship opportunities in third year i've had my senior friends get upto 70k in the greatest companies mostly try for off campus if u can because on campus internship has a lot of competition and they select very few

the placements are the most encouraged in our college since every teacher aims to help the students become fit for the placements the teachers are also very cooperative when you can't bag a placement offer

i have paid 1.6L since i'm open category but i've got friends who belong to other categories and their fees go as low as 23k there are MANY scholarship my open category friends have taken benefit for (regarding family income) and one of them also got a laptop as well as 1L rupees and her fees is somewhere around 43k (she had applied for the dutch bank scholarship)

the infrastructure is normal but the campus is very pretty because of the nature and the expansion of university the location is amazing since it's a posh area it's hard to get into the hostel the social life is okay if you make a good friend group the college does have a lot of activities time to time and the main cultural fest is amazing it's a week long

the placements are the best part and considering the location and the campus this college is very big and lot of explore the nature element is a lot not crazy infrastructure and the courses are great the teachers are supportive

the exams are great you can excel well i personally liked my growth here academically it's not very stressful plus the grading system is great aswell and currently we are following NEP so there's one final exam in eevery sem and then there are continuous assessment which give you your internal marks.
