Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Bsc biotechnology, B.G.I.E.T SANGRUR Punjab

The admission process was very simple. I just got contact no from the college website and get all the information about the college including fee and courses. So after applying you just have to pay the college tuition fee which was just 25000 per sem and the best part was that there were no hidden charges. Although at the time of admission you have to pay some extra money for admission fee and security fee and your tuition fee after that you only have up to pay your tuition fee and hostel fee if you are living in college hostel. Also, the mandatory examination fee. Admission criteria for BSc biotechnology are you must be passed from your 12 standards with at least 60%. Your previous subjects must include either medical or non medical although science streams get the benefit....Read More
