Likes
- Campus is good, infrastructure is good here, there are people who are from mant foreign countries about 6000 international students, there are 35000 students
- The management is good here inspite of being 35000 students enrolled in the university I didn't find any problem related to management,
- The mess food is good here decent to eat the hygiene is good, there are many clubs,any guest speakers comes here like in 2 days there is good exposure compared to other it's level Universities
Dislikes
- The teacher's are not good, they are just freshers studies from lpu itself. There is very strict rule of 75% attendance policy
- Campus is very good so I have to run from hostel to class early morning, classes are very much like from 9-5 5 days and some extra classes in Saturday too
- There are extreme temperatures in here in punjab and the crowd here is not good
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good, teacher's here say that our curriculum is designed latest to the industry demands and you wouldn't find this type of course in any university, but they are teaching those typical engineering subjects like physics or engineering drawing in CSE branch which is irrelevant.
Internships Opportunities
Actually I'm new here so I don't know much about internship opportunities, as I have heard from the sources and the seniors that college provide the internships and also people also get paid internship with higest of 63000 rupees per month stipend
Placement Experience
Placement are told here that the highest package last year was 52 lakh offered by Microsoft good companies come here like Google, Microsoft etc,but they only chose 1 or only two students there is avery much large number of students here so the placement ratio is less, the campus will provide you placement on the average package of 4 lakh which is decent for the average people
Fees and Financial Aid
So the complete fee for the btech course in CSE core is 280,000 rupees in lovely professional University. Scholarships are given to majorly to the every student on the basis of Lpunest exam, which is online mode exam. Other scholarships are given on the basis of defence quota, Martyrs quota, or the meriticolous scholarships for whomever have scored good in boards or competitive exam, the admission fee is ?15000 and all the fee is contained with tution fee in ?280000. The fee of my batchmates is according to their scholarships. My actual fee is ?225000 after scholarship. There is actually of 300crore of worth scholarships are given to the students
Campus Life
The campus life here is good I'm enjoying here with me friends, the campus is good and big so there is no problem of getting bored here but sometimes I get bored in the hostel room, sports is encouraged here and all the extracurricular activities are encouraged here, clubs are are good I myself have joined 2 clubs
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good, and the hostel staff and the wardens are good in nature, there is room cleaning every 2 days and have the laundary but that is paid, there are ac and non ac rooms available, 2, 3,4,5,6,7 seaters rooms are available along with that people can also accomodate in apartments here, you have to check in with your nfc card in everywhere like Library hostels etc
Admission
I chose this college because I had no other option I was trying to get some good government college but due to rank I wouldn't able to get any. This is problem of most the students here that they just came here because they couldn't find any other good college, I applied to ggsipu and DELHI university
Faculty
The faculty here is not actually good they Just come teach from ppts and they also are not experienced they are just freshers passed from lpu itself , and there are many exams like ca and mid terms so everyone is only stuck in. The pressure of exams and assignment.
