Remarks

I think I listed all the positive remarks above. The faculties, events, no ragging, green campus, great infrastructure, etc. all are plus points to name a few. Only negative remark, which I think would be the fee structure.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is good. The exam structure is the same as in any other college in Gujarat. We had the mid semester examination, end semester examinations, viva, quiz, internal examination. All bearing a certain amount of weightage in total.

Placement Experience

The campus placement in the college is very good. As it is a reputed institute of both engineering and liberal studies, the companies that come for campus placement are also reputable. I don’t think college provides any internship.

College Events

There any many small and big events organized in the college. But the most talked about and most celebrated events are: 1) Flare- cultural event. 2) Petrocup- Sports event 3) Tesseract- Technical event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is more on the expensive side, I should say. Just the tuition fee for any engineering course in this college costs 2,08,000 per year, which is a little expensive compared to other engineering colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn’t avail of any loans or scholarships from the college. I am not aware if any scholarship or loan is offered now. Back then there was no such offer from the college. But you can always opt for government loans.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are very good. As I mentioned above, the petrocup- sports event is famous in the whole of India. So sports is excellent if you are into sports. Also, the college has all the necessary labs and equipments for the studies.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni students and senior students are very helpful. Unlike other colleges, there is not even a slight trace of ragging in this college, which is a great plus point. You can always go to a senior or alumni to get some help.

Faculty

All the faculties are highly educated and full of knowledge. One of the best colleges in terms of teaching faculties, I should say. Never had any complaints about any of the faculty member or teachers.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

The other college that I planned on getting into was Nirma University but I couldn't meet the cutoff and hence I had to make do with PDEU. So this was actually my second option. The admission process of the university is JEE and GUJCET. So you can give either of these exams and then the counselling process is done through ACPC. Generally THE GUJCET cutoff is easier to meet. The overall admission process is pretty smooth and hassle free as you would expect from a university which charges you 2 and a half lakhs per annum...Read More

I was from a normal background and wanted to build my carrer in a high-fly way which can help me to explore and learn more new things and can relate to the ongoing industry leve so i chose PDEU because it offers a large campus, good placements and modern labs and faculty in learning. i faced many rejection from different colleges may be by some ranking issues or some percentage or JEE exam score. It was just competition and limited seats. Eligiblity at PDEU requires 10+2 PCM subjects and admission are based on JEE score, Gujcet score or may be on the cuttoffs that rarely vary. Admission process at our college is very simple just byb filling the form at the website/portal and pay the fee and then the process helds offline and provide you the offer letter....Read More
