The academics as well as the behaviour of the professors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum needs to be improved, new technological aspects need to be added to the course. The course structure followed is too old and should be restructured. But still the professors are so nice and talented.

Campus Life

There are more than 20 clubs in our college and many events are held every weekend in our college to encourage the students for the extra curricular activities apart from the academics. Also the seniors are very helpful and help us a lot.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility at NIT Patna is not at all good. We have got 4 seater rooms which are very very small and only 2 cupboards are there. There is no space to study and we always have to go to the library. The mess food is good and tasty.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I didn't choose this college this was the only good NIT i got at my CRL 60101 in JEE MAIN Exam 2024. I preferred College over branch and opted for NIT Tag. I could have got an upper branch in a State Level College but NIT matters.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is very good. The professors are very supportive. As well as the classrooms are air conditioned with comfortable seats and projectors and mic and soeakers. My favourite teacher is Achint Sarkar Sir from Mechanical Engineering department.

College with good roi

Likes

Our college fee is too low that's why I like this college
Our college has some good professors which help us to achieve our goals
Our college has wifi facility throughout the campus

Dislikes

In our college there is no network signal which affects a lot
Very few companies visits our college and low placement ratios the major concern ofmy college
Lack of useful resources like auditorium and 24*7 electricity

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that much good student from 7th sem are eligible to sit in placement and companies started visiting in our campus however very few companies cake in our campus as our tpo is not that much active . Tcs , wipro and some sales companies visits our campus and they offer profile of system engineer trainee engineer sales executive etc. 40 percent of our students got placed in our college .

Likes

Environment of the campus is extremely good.
Mentors are very supportive towards the student.

Dislikes

The campus is relatively small and consists of only two floor campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are decent with companies visiting the campus for recruitment in various technical roles. The college also conducts mock interview to improve students employability.

Placement is average like 5-6lakh but all depends on you if you are skillful then can get any amount in placement. Many companies visit here and you will get many chances and offer with right skill .many started own startup too with guidance of professor

I like, college is providing good educational background to engineering student who were not go to IIT or NIT with affordable amount of money.
Faculty are highly educated having good teaching methods and mentoring student. They were selected through BPSC examination.
The campus area is extended in approx 50 acares. The campus provide greenery environment which is better for health of student.

Dislikes

The campus is situated far from the Motihari city which result in lack of conectivity with market.
The college campus has much forest area due to it, you can see wild animal like Nil Gay and Snake in campus .
The college is situated 2 km away from the national highway, due to which you face difficulty in traveling in evening after 6 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has chossen B. tech in Civi Engineering due to I want to do feild work. Civil Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch and base of all branch. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. In engineering you can face exam any time so you always ready for any examination and apply the daily study routine to life.

Premium institute and a proud university from where studies of agriculture started.
It's huge campus full of greenery and parks and gardens

Dislikes

Network other than jio. Only jio sim can be used here.
Food is not expected sometimes specially those are from Bengal and orisa.
The price of every substances is higher than anywhere. Specially in the complex.

Placement Experience:

On the basis last year data the agro buisness management got 100 percent placement. And the average placement got 6lpa. Most students go for higher education in premier institutions from here. And some are go to foreign for their studies.

Likes

I like the way that the teachers taught is very efficient for the students.
I like the campus because it looks nice as compression to other government colleges
I like the calmess of my teacher because it taught very peaceful way..

Dislikes

I dislike because no any sports are played on our college in big level..
Only 10 to 5 classes are held .so it feels booring
And our college placement rate is very low so I dislike my college

I passed jee mains and my percentile was not so good so through ugeac i selected in this college ...only teaching is nice and good in our college but extra curriculum vitae are not so much developed.. Ya the exam time was also very delay in our college ...now our current session is also delay..

A short description of BIT MESRA OFF campus PATNA

Likes

Fests are moderate sports event are good to go
Have good library there we can basically study
Gymnasium is also good average gym to go

Dislikes

Small campus area there is not much area to roam
No night life hostels gate closses at 10:30 so after that you can't roam in the campus
Mixed ground for everything there should be seperate ground for cricket football volleyball and badminton

Placement Experience:

Placement are not that bad or good it totally depends upon the students of that batch so we can't classify it earlier the placement were pretty decent but due to Covid the placement scenario has been distributed but then also it's recovering sonhope in the future the placement would again be descent..

Likes

there is lot of time to prepare for other skills ,classes are not scheduled in hurry.
the professors are super friendly , we can ask doubts .
the location is nice . station and highway are nearby

Dislikes

some interference in hostels of academic staffs
student find tough in organising events .
the college road gets muddy in rainy season .

Course Curriculum Overview:

there is not too much workload so you can work on yourself ,thats the best part of this college . there are new subjects introduced and they are revised so that we can prepare for real world problems . more competitive events should be introduced and they should be reviewed . exams are not that difficult but you have to study to pass. there is enough time to prepare . the exams are scheduled after 6 months . there is enough gap during exam also.

Students of final year and pre-final year are eligible for college placement. Different companies visits college for the placement opportunities after words with TPOs. Heighest package is 6LPA and average is 2.8 LPA. Around 60% students get placed. My plan is to pursue MBA after the degree completion

I liked campus and location of campus here
I liked people's here they are very helpful
I like placement here it is very impressive

Dislikes

I does not like food and hotel,not good.
I doesn't like ground here ,it is very small
I does not like curriculum,not such good

From 7 th semester students are ready to take campus placement,and from 5 th sem students are ready to take internship , Google, Microsoft,Amazon all big companies came here , Height package is 16carore last year and avg package 14 lpa last yr

I choose an NIT patna Mainly because of its nit tag Decent placement record and affordability compared to private college. I had Also applied To a few other IIT Triple I I bought options in lower branch it is slightly Better late and similar budget in new nit. IT do not get to an empty slide 3G Surat Karan Warangal due to my jee main rank. So I choose the best available options based on my rank. The admission process is through Gmail followed by Joseph Counselling to be eligible student must have completed 12th with physics chemistry and mathematics most students prefer J Men as a primary exam for nits cut offs very Every year. I applied to the national institute of technology jamshedpur, nit durgapur, nit silchar, nit patna and kept the college nit patna over all the colleges, so due to this, i did not get any type of rejection and got confirmed the admissions from all the colleges and i chose nit patna for its strategic locaiion , better connecttivity , avtive student community and the growing placement stats. Reality of the intership

I took this college because it is near 150 km of my home town, which was one of the most reason along with cse branch I get here. I prefer branch over college as seniors suggest ed me. I think some of the things which is going wrong like they shifted to new campus which is under construction and we are living in dustfull campus and noise from that, in exam time their work in my hostel as felt like some is belling in my head overall frustration.
