- The campus is huge. And very green and systematic.
- It has great campus life with lots of events and different concerts.
- It has one of the best campus life. And lot of people are there for interaction from different states.
Dislikes
- It is very crowded specialy in the morning at 9 and evening at 5.
- You have to walk a lot around the campus.
- Maintaining 75% attendance is must there is nothing that can be done. No medical leave nothing. Neither your professors can help you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The carriculam is well made. And it has all the points decided. Exams are very hard nuts to crack. Study hard to get good placement.
Placement Experience
From 7 th semester you become eligible for campus placement. But you have to attend placement classes which starts from 5 th semester. No of compnis which visited for campus placement of chemical engineering were 25. Mostly from sates and it services like TCS, CAPGEMINI, Accenture etc, less companies for core field. Highest package is 9 lacks CTC and average is 3.8 lacks.60%of students got placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees which I paid is about 240000. And there is examination fees of 6000 per year. Every thing is included in this fees. But Lpu provide scholarship on the basis of Jee mains or through the University EXAM LPUNEST divided in three categories from 30%-50%. For CSE scholarship is different from10%-30%. Besides this there are external scholarship where you can apply. Also it provide huge advantage for person with sports background. Waving all the course fees if you have played on recognisable level.
Campus Life
There are lot of annual fest and events occurring in university one of the major event is one India in which different schools represent diffrent states.Alo there are many EDM nights which happens in lpu like concerts. There are wide range of books and journals available in the library. There are nearly 5 library In the University with one omain library. You can issue a book for at most 7 daysonly then after depositing you have to re issue it. Facilities are ok not up to mark. In summer something it smess very bed in classrooms due to sweat. And there are only 2 ac At least there should be 3 ac for classrooms that big .most of the time projects are not working. The sports and extracurricular activities are there. But resources are limited. Not enough for all the people in university. There are lot of social club you can join any. With different backgrounds. There is dedicated block for those social clubs. Called Decision of student welfare. Which can give you best exposure
Admission
I applied to different colleges. First to UPES dehradun, Amity Noida, Galgotia College of engineering. The fees for the course is less as compared to other colleges. And it has well established carriculam. For addmission you can directly apply to the lpu site where by paying 10000 you can get admit which are included in fees only or you can directly visit University. But remer to give LPUNEST FIRST FOR SCHOLARSHIP
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is very less. Nearly 75 student are there in one section for CSE. You can approach the faculty but they don't have much time so you have to take appointment. There are in total 5 exams 3 CAs(continuous assessment)2 best are considered. 1 mid term for most of the subjects MCQ ONLY.1 END TERM MCQ and theory mix. Ca hase 25 weightage of 25 mid term weightage of 20 and for end term weightage is 50. 5 marks are for attandance.
