Campus Life

5

The overall experience in this college is quite satisfying. The society, the clubs in the college are much active and one can learn a lot of things by joining them. The seniors in this college are of very helpful nature.

Hostel Facilities

4

The first year hostels are not that much good. But from the 2nd year the allotted hostel are good and are full of joy. Outside the college there are many PGs and flats are available at the affordable price. Mess food is also not that much bad.

Admission

I chose this college because i have Heard about this from many of my friends and i wanted to enjoy my college life after studying hard for jee exams . I also wanted to play sport's on daily basis as in our college the work load is not that much so one can go for his/her passion very easily.

Faculty

3

Faculty in the college is neither good nor bad. The moderate level of teachers and they have a moderate level of teaching. One teacher i likes the most is Pooja diwwedi ( teacher of engineering in material and metallurgy {EMM}). The way she used to teach us is like very ossum just similar to my tuition teacher who used to teach me when i was in 8th and 9th standard. She used to taught us like her own children. The teacher i didn't like is Krishna Datta (K.D.) a teacher for electrical engineering. I never seen a teacher like him in my whole student life. More accurately i must say he is a teacher like viru sahstra budhi(3 idiot). He never gives Marks if u didn't follow his steps and do steps as u learnt in the utube videos or by referring any other book which he hasn't suggested i guess he must be paid by the book authors for referring the book. He fucked my cg as i just passed by a margin of 1 markss.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
