Remarks

This college has a pool of great people, hence you will find a very good network of students working on amazing projects and technologies, but the faculties and management make it harder for any students to innovate. This college doesn't even have its own entrepreneurship cell, so that is how dedicated they are regarding supporting new ideas. Very poor infrastructure for co-curricular and extra-curricular has made it worst to find exposure. No sports related infrastructure shows how much this college cares about it's students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course I had is relatively outdated, but the new batch of the 1st year has the updated curriculum, which includes the futuristic technologies, new frameworks, and languages. Also, the new competitive coding website is in place to provide students the experience of competitive coding as well.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are pretty good if someone is looking to work at Mass recruiter, but the quality jobs and opportunities are not provided eg:- companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google have come to this campus for placement but they only hire Tester or someone from MBA. Hence a career wise it doesn't make any sense.

College Events

3.5

Every college conduct 5 National level fests for its 3 departments and 1 for a club named "White Hat Hackers Club (WHHC)". I am a member of WHHC and only the event organized by WHHC had the quality workshops, seminars, and coding competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies from 1.5 Lakh per annum to 3 Lakh per annum. It is not feasible not normal middle class people, but using education loans it is possible to survive here. If you are from a merit system then you get the lowest fee to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since my college comes under the SRM's main campuses authority, it has various scholarship programs like Single parent scholarship which, merit based scholarship, Loan based fee structure for payment through loans, etc

Campus Life

3

This college has 4 labs for the CSE department and all are meant for doing competitive coding. Apart from that, there are no labs, sports, extracurricular or co curricular activities supporting infrastructure in this college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network was is working and conducting the meetups every year starting from 2018. This network has various benefits and a great place to connect people from other branches or SRM as well. Vadapalani branch has there separate meetups and alumni network.

Faculty

1

The faculties of this college are not up to the mark and are openly partial to North Indian students, apart from that there are only very few faculties having the knowledge regarding their subject and very rear ones know how to teach. Hence self learning is the only method a student can survive in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
