This college is an only private institute which is autonomous in Mumbai University but the issue is that this college lies in central line so for Western line students this college is very far. But because of Mumbai metro now traveling is easy for Western line students too.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college is autonomous affiliated to Mumbai University so the course curriculum of this college is different than Mumbai University. This college has divided students of the first year in 2 group 1 group will study physics, mechanics, EVS, PIC in sem 1 and other in sem 2 and other subjects of the first year in his other year. This college also has 1 extra subject called as Industrial application which helps the student to get the application of his field.
Placement Experience
Our college has a different office for placement called a placement cell. This cell helps you in each case like an internship, job offers and much more. They provide you all internship opportunities related to your field and interest. And talking to placement our college have an average salary of around 4lpa.
College Events
Our college has 3 events. 1. Abhiyantriki - technical fest of our college in which students of our college and from other colleges come and participate in different technical contests. 2. Skream - National level sports fest of our college. Since our college campus is very big and even 2nd very big campus in the whole of Mumbai. So the sports fest is very famous in our college and many students from different colleges come here and participate and also win the prize. And last but not least we have Symphony - the cultural fest of our college. This is the most famous and awaited event on the whole Somaiya campus Because it is the heart of every somaiya public. From around 31year this event in organizing many events and even in this fest famous celebrities comes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If talking about fee than yes fee of this college is expensive. The fee of this college is around 1.77 LPA which is very much expensive for normal people but for the big campus and best learning experience this fee is right.
Fees and Financial Aid
The faculty of this college helps poor students for the scholarship. They themselves pay the whole fee of the student whose financial condition is not good. And talking about loan than I Don't have any details of it.
Campus Life
Since the campus of this college is very big so this college gives full opportunities for extracurricular activities like sports, extra courses that are not a part of the curriculum. They have a different office for extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Since most of the students of this college are Gujaratis, therefore, students of this college are generally helpful and there is no relation of them with ragging and all. The seniors of this college are very helpful. They will help you in each case like in the exam if you ask for notes then they will give you. If you need any help related to other stuff they will help you with them too. For this, our college has a very supportive student council which according to me is very best.
Faculty
College faculty is helpful in almost every case if you have any doubt just call them or email them they will help you in each case. Every faculty of this college have a Ph.D. or master degree and experience of almost 10 year+.
