Course Curriculum Overview

5

College is very good and old but teaching methods is also old. All classes is manual but in respect of other technical college, classroom is not good . I suggest the college authority to expand extra activity to explore students.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st Semester fees is tution fee - 33000, Exam fee - 1200, SRF-12339, DF-4300, Hostel-12272, Security Refundable - 6000 means Total fees is 69111 2nd Semester - 56122, 3rd Semester - 57447, 4th Semester - 53758 5th Semester - 58297 6th Semester - 54608 7th Semester - 58297 8th Semester - 55208 No scholarship is not available but if your state government has released the scholarship then you received benefits.

Campus Life

5

College infrastructure is good and luxurious type like hostel building is new and classroom building is also good. All needy books are available in my college central library also have a sitting area in college library. There are 5 canteen available in this college. All have their own beauty and availablity capacity.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel fees is available like 1st Semester - 12272 2nd Semester - 12272 3rd Semester - 9908 4th Semester - 9908 5th Semester - 10758 6th Semester - 10758 7th Semester - 10758 8th Semester - 10758 Hostel menu is Punjabi food type and all are healthy food.

Admission

I chose this college on the basis of campus, reputation and placement. Sports complex and sports kits are available but college authority not want to organise any sports event. I got admission on the basis of jee main rank but Now a days college give admission on basis of 12th board exam marks. I want any central level college like IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI but not eligible to take admission in that college.

Faculty

5

Faculty is well qualified and experienced but some faculty is always try to give benefits of Punjabi students. But maximum staff is good in nature. 2 minor and 1 major test are held in college. All exams are tough and marking is good like if you attempt then marks will be awarded.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
