Likes

Best balance between college and extracurricular as there are lot of opportunities.
Good placements comparatively, even though the placements drive was quite poor with less number ot companies students with no standing arrears got an offer,
Best infrastructure with all available support to excel

Dislikes

Same old exam patterns that doesnt make students prepared for outside world
Depending how you handle the college curriculum can be a pressure
The cultural part is quite poor only good

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum makes sure you learn all the basics you need to survive in a corporate world. but it depends on one's own efforts to master a particular skill as all the curriculum covers only the basics.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were many internship opportunities from Paypal, Fidelity, Citi Bank and few more with stipend from 35k per month to 1L per month. all the companies preferred working on both front and back ends and some on data warehousing.

Placement Experience

The placement drive starts right after the start of 7th semester. Provided you have no standing arrear there is 100 percent probability of placements in any one of tue company with a decent package to start with

Two categories for tuition fee Through anna university - 125000 per year Through management- 190000 per year Many scholarships available including AICTE, Rural scholarship Hostel fee starts at 75000 per year for shared room with no AC and goes upto 140000

Campus Life

We have one cultural fest in the month of march called Instincts and it happens for three days. And another technical fest in the month of october or november called Invente for 2 days. And other extra curricular club celebrations

Hostel Facilities

Hostel looks average you get two sharing and three sharing options with common restrooms and single rooms with common and attached restrooms. Food is below average, you get non vegetarian food thrice in a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

In Tamilnadu after IITM and NITT I would suggest SSN over CEG because of the spotlight you get from teachers and regular classes with a better infrastructure particularly for computer science based courses

Faculty

There will be approximately 20 faculties in a department which is not so bad. probably one teacher will teach 2 to 3 students for different classes.there are faculties who likes to make you learn subjects in a practical way with your own approach. the course curriculum is good except few courses. We have 3 internals exams out of which best 2 is considered

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I had applied for many college, and i got a seat in SSN through management quota. This admission process consists of various steps first we need to attend the MCQ test after filling all the form it is mandatory to fill all the details that they ask in prior and after we receive a mail regarding the MCQ test timings and the subjects for this test will be our 12th maths and Science and English along with some attitude to check whether basic are strong. This test is not two difficult like JEE Mains It's Simple concepts of 12 grade which can be cracked easily and once you get qualified you will receive a mail for individual interview. In this interview you communication skills are tested. I didn't choose the other colleges in TNLEA because the first applied college was SSNCE only and I got this college in merit. if, I apply other college is Anna university Chennai but lateral entry students have no seats at Anna university. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges because my first preference in SSN and i got it. I applied TNLEA website for lateral entry and studied diploma and Choice filling then allotment order. If you are trying for management quota you have have clear the exams and face to face interview. As I joined in SSN college through management, following the application process I had an exam. I got a mail from the college that I was selected for the interview along with the interview details. I attened the interview which is quite no technical. They asked about my profile and how the technology is impacting people.
