The teaching faculty is good and trys their best to help the students in studies
There are many activities that the university organise
The fees is less and facilities are more in the university

As the university has changed its location this year, there is a problem in the infrastructure
The classrooms are yet not made completely but is in progress

Course Curriculum Overview

The course offered here is UG, PG and Phd. Their are many curriculum activities like, there is a sports weak in the campus and even inter campus events. Debet compition, and a national event which is organised by my university i.e Techaura in which other universitys participate.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in the fist year of the course, I don't have much idea about the internship provided, but as I have heard from the senior there are some interships provided to the students and if the student is good he/she is even given more opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Admission fees with the 1st sem fees is around 19080 While from the 2nd sem onwards it's around 12000 per semester. All categery students have to pay the same fee, while the students who have not got admission through merit, have to pay a bit more higher in the spot round.

Campus Life

The overall experience in the university is good till the date. There have been many programs which I have attended and even our university provides free cources like NCC, NSS etc.... The teaching staff is good and the location of the university is also good

Hostel Facilities

In my hostel there is a domertry system, but as i had heard of domertry for others it's not that bad, my experience in the hostel Life i going better and better day by day. Our seniors and brothers are very friendly in the hostel with us, we play together, we work together and even talk.

Hostel Fee: INR 8000 per year

Admission

I choosed this college due to the following reasons. 1. It is affordable. 2. It is a central university (government). 3. I heard from my friends about the college. 4. The course which I was instrested, i got it.

Faculty

The exam system in the university is good and the teacher to students ratio is also good enough, All the facilities are good to me and even to all the students. Our seniors are also good they support us.

Better Review of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the curriculum activities are good and all the teachers are good in nature and always help me a lot when students facing the problem. All the staff members are good and help all the students. The timing of the exam or time duration in end sem is for three hours and the difficulty level is also good .

Nagaland University from my eyes

Course Curriculum Overview:

After learning about all the different courses I thought of going for soil science as it is the basis of all the other agricultural sciences. Practical classes exposes us to various real world experiences. The only area where our college can improve is providing better facilities for practicals. The frequency is timing of exams is very comfortable.

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

Admission:

St. Joseph University is located in Nagaland and has a beautiful study environment. To get admission, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent from any recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected for the university.

Remarks:

The college is lacking in terms of facilities which was present in colleges with lower cutoffs. Working so hard for JEE and then getting a college like this one demotivates and irritates a lot. Positive things are like the campus is beautiful and a few alumini are good.

Engineering College

Remarks:

Yes, the college is very budget friendly and the college is located right near the city. It faces no difficulty in electricity, water and internet. It has almost all the equipments and tools needed. One drawback is that the college doesn't have a permanent campus.

The most important story about me choosing this college was that it was a Catholic based institution and fortunately I happened to complete my secondary schooling days from the same Catholic institution itself. Besides this college, I have applied for any other colleges nor have I faced rejection. The admission process of our college was based on the percentage of marks obtained during the schooling days at 10th and 12th respectively. Students getting more than 60% and above was eligible for getting admitted to the college. Review of Nagaland University, Kohima Campus

Mainly the reason for choosing this university are, financially it is very convenient and Nagaland university is the only central university in our state so why go somewhere else.
