Remarks

The college ahve on of the best infrastructure in Nagpur and the discipline in college is awesome. Teachers and all other staff of the college is very friendly and the college have no ragging case last 25 years which is a very good track record for any college like this with so much reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is in line with GATE exam pattern the course changes with change in GATE exam syllabus and the course curriculum is design in such a way that it meets industry standards and the exam structure is very transparent and neutral like Election commission of India it is neutral and there is no leakage in examination process.

Placement Experience

The college have very good placement record in Nagpur after VNIT and many big MNC's visit the campus for recruitment like Amazon, Barclays etc . The average package is of around 4.5 lakh and can go upto 18 lakhs per annum and almost every student have jobs after the end of their 4th year which is very good in current scenario in engineering in now a days.

College Events

The college have "Prathishruti" as it's main fest which is one of the biggest college fest in central India and for 1st year students Aaruni is held as their fresher party which goes for 3 days and the college have its own technical fest "Technovision" which is one of the best technical fest in central India students come from different- different colleges to take part in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible in accordance with facilities and education provided in the college and many scholarship are provided from college like alumni scholarship for students who are good in study but have weaker financial condition and government scholarship are also there for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides many scholarship in its own and there are government scholarships too for the students for students who are good in study and have weak financial condition can get alumni scholarship in which they get 60k in scholarship and government scholarship are provided on caste and economic conditions of the family.

Campus Life

College have vast number of extracurricular activities like sports , dance , technical exhibitions, drama and many other things the sports facility is very good the college have its own sports complex and the labs of the college are very good they updated equipment and all facilities in them and every department have its own lab.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very good and alumni of the college are at very good post in companies and in government services too. They meet students after every regular intervals and share their experiences with the students they remain in touch with the students and teachers.

Faculty

This college have one of the best faculties in the Nagpur almost every teacher is a P.hd holder from NIT , IIT or IISC and they have have very good teaching experience and after every exam a teacher feedback is asked to fill up which helps in maintaining the quality of teaching .

Faculty members are very experienced and professional and friendly.
Campus is very large we got 2 swimming pools, we got college cultural fest and it is worth it.
All new buildings are good properly equipped

Dislikes

Still got old buildings, for the student hostels
Too many activities that make our college little crowded
Some Asst. Professors don't have any experience

Placement Experience:

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

Likes

Placements is the best thing about the college. Average package is about 13 to 14 lpa.
You can be placed in private as well as in government job. Like in PSU's as well as in private companies
Well disciplined and training as well as uniform.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not so much good they are average but there is cricket ground volleybal as well as badminton court
There are no big fests as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are able to sky in campus placement.The companies which are major recruiters from our coleege are IOCL, BPCL, HPCL ONGC, GAIL, SAIL,Reliance, Vedanta, IGL, HPL, Bharat electronics limited,CAIREN oil , NAYRA etc... the highest package of our college is of 24 lpa and average package is about 13 to 14 plans . Approximately 98 to 100% of students are placed. My plans is to get campus placement and serve as Fire officer in various companies.

Life i faced after living in nfsc nagpur after 8 months

Likes

It provides a disciplined life , college also has a clean enviornment , ac classroom, amply equiped labouratory, nagpurs biggest auditorium
It has provides double sharing room , which get clean daily , hostel infrastructure is improving day by day
Easy going placement, college provides 100% placement rate with 50% students securing jobs in psu

Dislikes

It is a semi milatary organisation so depending upon candidate
Restrictions towards outing like you have to report college back before 10 pm
Limited holidays , even in semester you have to maintain your attendence around 90%

Placement Experience:

Around your 7th semester companies started to visit college for campus placement. In 2025-26 there are reliance,haldi,igl,bpcl,vedanata,narayana,etc . These companies visited up to now There is nothing like highest package in this college because selecting in psu it means a stabke carrer and even if you wish to have a better salary after doing sime courses like nebosh and m tech in safety you can get jobs in foreign countries There is 100% placement in college To continue the job. And get near to my home

Life of a mech_engineer at VJTI

Likes

I liked the professors expertise in the respective subjects and their passion whilst teaching us those subjects.
The food at the canteen is amazing and affordable. The catering people are the most efficient and cooperative bunch of folks.
All the batches of my college are pretty competitive as they consist only of state-wide toppers and the most brilliant minds of the state of Maharashtra.

Dislikes

Some of the infrastructure and labs are old and not up-to-date.
The washrooms are in bad condition and must have seen better days.
The boys to girls ratio is very poor especially in my batch. There is only one girl per ten guys.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

I like the infrastructure of the collages and campus was also good situated in the mountains where you will get full nature vibe and you will get more concentrated towards your study also for sports there is a big playground where u can play cricket
At my department all the labs were well equipped with the systems and available for all the students who are there to do practice or practicals on pc ,the staff was very cooperative with tlstudents and allow them to use the systems at any time
The one think I like was about the hostel facility there was girl and boys hostel in collages which were so great and the value for money there was housekeeping staff for washing clothes also for cleaning purpose there was staff and rooms were cleand

Dislikes

One thing I disliked was the teaching experience was not good , lectures not happened at a time and staff was not available some time they only takes exams and don't give any suggestions or response regarding study which was qui not good for students
Another one was there were to many holidays because staff was going on strike sometimes because they didn't get payment on time and the trustees are not available there to solve the students issue which was quite dangerous for students academics that

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good you have to apply for job on yourself collage will not get you a job There placements team is not cooperating with students Only local companies visited here who gave 10 to 15 k per month all the students at my time got job on their own collage was not responsible for that Average package is about 3 lps and highest was 6 lpa I have to do another course to get placement

all though faculty are good enough all your placement depends on your CGPA
campus life is really good , hostel facilty are also avalable
infrastructure is also good , seperate building for CS/IT and another building for entc / mechnical

Dislikes

mess food is not good , average aur below average food
hostel wifi sometime dont work or during college time wifi is off
campus is very big need your personal vehical

Placement Experience:

after 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement many mass recrutment are coming in campus like tcs , infosys , hcl and many more average placement is 4-5 lpa and highest is 10 depends on your skills and and your dsa knowledge

The campus is good and the environment is clean and greenery to fresh enviornment the class are well maintained

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd visited, offering various roles. Highest package was 10 LPA, avg was 5 LPA. Around 80% students get placed. If no campus placement, focus on internships, networking, and job search post-graduation. After the degree, I plan to pursue a career in the field, aiming for roles in design or manufacturing.

Academically very good college. All activities for working in a company are fulfilled
Helpful nature of teaching and other staff
Strict in terms of submission and exams.

Dislikes

Crowd of students not that good as there are minority students.
Some teaching staff are not good teachers
No ground and need for permission for every small things

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from sem6 for placement. Companies visiting are Tata, Cape Gemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. Highest package was 1.2 cr and average is 4.5 L . Students getting placed are 95%. My plan is to pursue Msc.
