Course Curriculum Overview

2

Talking about curriculum you answer me, like why do i need to study mathematics when the company asks me data structures and algorithms, man we have studied maths till 12th and that's it, that's enough, the way they teach doesn't prepare us for real world, no no not at all, student himself/herself has to make him/her ready for outside world, they themselves have to study, totally dependent on curriculum will make you jobless, and that's truth.

Internships Opportunities

3

Very less companies come to college for internships, like say around 10 But these 10 are good companies like BNY, mastercard, Deutsche bamk and like this few more They will provide tou SDE roles basically and after the end of internship you'll get PPO also most probably based on your performance. Projects as such they are not specified but yes good projects

Fees and Financial Aid

What to talk about fees, they are increasing like anything When I joined it was 2.9lakhs per year and its just 4 years fees is 3.5L , seeing the facility or infrastructure they're providing I don't think it should be that much They don't provide scholarships, but you can get from various places through this college. Fees is same for everyone irrespective of their father's rank This much fees for an army person is not justified, this is army college and should be less( personal opinion)

Campus Life

5

Talking about events, there are literally a lot of events organised by students, and they are really very very good.. Various events - Technical Akriti, sports akriti, battle of bands, Pace, Cultural akriti and many more.. Various clubs organizes trips and organizes capms also.. overall very good Talking about times of these - Occurs every year and whole year there will be events, because of these events only this college is a happening place My suggestion- irrespective of college, participate in events, they'll really help you self building

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel room are okay okay for first, second and third year, but 4th year H wing is way better, I'd say they should make every hostel like that only Facilities they provide in a room - a bed, an almirah, shoe rack that's it Cleaning is done like regularly, no complains, for the clothes washing also laundering facility is there. Wifi they provide in hostel, very bad can't even open other websites than you tube (study realted you can but not whatspp and all) , they give wifi in only one device that is laptop No network in first year and 4th year hostels, I mean they know this still they don't give wifi in two devices Seeing the fees around 1lakh for the hostel Food is also ok ok, mess management is also good no complains from my side as such Hostel is in capmus only, so yeah that is plus point Registration process is very simple it'll be at the time of admission

Admission

Why did i chose this college - First of all i chose this college because of the name Army institute and didn't go to NIT. Second because of seeing the placements they were also good (not denying, they are good compared to most of the colleges in pune) Because of the reviews about the environment of this college the students make( no doubt, this is very disciplined and very very good compared to other engineering colleges) Because all the students in this college belongs to army background, thatyy I chose this, and I don't regret my decision of choosing this college, you'll get to know after reading my whole review

Faculty

3

If we talk about faculty, some are very good and some literally don't have much idea about what they are teaching, they don't know about their subject, I don't know why, this much fees students are paying and this we are getting, that y i got frustrated at college, some are very polite and helpin whereas some are literally carrying ego and full of attitude idk why, like they'll always show anger even when they are wrong, I won't write name here but that teacher is like .... I literally got frustrated with that teacher

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
