Likes
- Teachers taught very well here .Most of teachers are very supportive and talented
- Study hour is very strict here, this should be little hectic because 6 classes back to back without any break. Many clubs are here like coding club, badminton club,robotics clubyou can join according to your interest
- College provides many facilities like library facilities which I like the most there are many lab facilities means every day you spent 2hours in lab which help you to understand the concepts very well
Dislikes
- College campus is far away from city so hours went waste in travelling I spend(waste) 4hours everyday for reaching to and returning from college
- College is very small .classes are not so much optimised when we compare with other colleges and most of the class don't have ac so we have to do classes with continuous sweating we don't have any other option
- Many distractions always pull you from your back. Everyday you see very careless students which distract your aim and also demotivate you
Course Curriculum Overview
I took computer science because of my interest and I choose gita for gita's quality education in affordable price. Here each subject is taught according to need of the industry it market and higher studies. The major drawback is important concepts are teached in blackboard which is not very effective this curriculum should be chage. Exams are conducted in every 2-3monthes gap. Difficulty level is moderate every question you get is from question bank or assignments given by the faculty itself. A student can easily score good marks if he attend the class regularly and practise the question bank.
Internships Opportunities
College is not provid eany internship facilities. They just suggest us to take internship of good companies and guide us. College encourage us to take part in hackathon and also faculty guide us in that.
Placement Experience
Placement sinario is not so well now a days because less no of companies came for placements they also donot give good placement and most of them are new companies or else start-ups. Recently Accenture Capgemini and mindtree TCS came for placements but they give less no placement. placement rate is 50% My aim is to prepare myself for tech companies and get a job .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of gita is less when we compare it with other institutes in bhubaneswar it is 125000(tuition fees) and hostel charge is 65000 if you take transportation facilities then you have to pay 15000 per year. Many scholarship from both govt and private also provided here like prerana,pms This fee structure is for cse branch
Campus Life
One tech fest is happening every year for 3days where students participate in dancing modeling singing etc socase there talents. Getting a book from library is very easy you just need your I'd card and library card for it which college provide in the 1st year. There is no scope for sport here but annual sports event also happen here you can participate
Admission
I found fees of this college is familar to me when I compared it with other colleges. No I didnot get rejected from any college I took addmission through counciling. You can take addmission through your jee main marks or ojee marks. You can go through the ojee counciling process for addmission.College also provides on campus addmission.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 10:1 There are many faculties I like but among them suchismita mam is my favourite for her way of teaching and she always help students to keep studying .she teaches us python literally I remember basic concept of python very well. There is no teacher I hate but I donot like eec teacher because he Don't teach well and always scold us for no reason Every semester you face two exam one is mid sem and another one is end sem and between the mid sem to end sem short test happen.viva test is taken in each lab this mark is also includ in you main grade. End sem is of 60marks and mid sem is of 25 marks and rest are tests,viva,tests and assignment marks.
