Likes

The campus is green and the view of every building is very good.
The security of campus is very tight and good for girl students
The infrastructure of college is very advanced with the smart ac labs, smart classrooms and so on

Dislikes

The food of hostel is very bad and tasteless
The class rooms are not ac so it is suffocating in summer
The college charges the whole semester fees for last semester whether the ;last semester has no class

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Btech in computer science and engineering and my course has 8 semester and the semesters are very tough but the two minor tests are easy. The practical subjects have practical exams. The course is well desighned for industry requirements and the college provides very good infrastructure for teachers and students

Internships Opportunities

Our college has many collaborations with renowned company like WEBEL, CIDAS, Datacore pvt ltd, TCS, Johnson control, Cisco and the college provides internships in the gap of 1 st yr and second yr. The gap of 2nd yr and 3rd year, In the gap of 3rd year and 4th year and the main internships for 6 months in the 8th semester. The college provided inernships are some paid and some non paid based on the studen.

Placement Experience

The college has one central placement cell and the interdepertment placement cell. The placements cell arrenges workshops for grooming and interview preperation and aptitude and the placement cells arrenges on campus placements for students and this year tcs is comming to our college for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

My per semester fees is 46125 and the collge provides scholarship in semester fees to the students whose family income is less tham 2.5 LPA and the scholarship amound deducts from semester fees. and my original semester fees is 55000. after discount it is 46125. The college do not have any special reservation for SC, ST. The students can apply for svmcm scholarship, oasis scholarship and many more scholarships. The college bus facility is available and the well furnished hostel is available. The labs and class rooms are well equipped. The faculties are friendly and the placement cell is very active.

Campus Life

My college has many clubs for music , dance, fashion, sports, art, cooking, technical and so on. The clubs organises workshops and programs for the whole year. The programs are very collaborative and well planned and the activities are very interesting and the clubs rewords for the talents. The photography club organizes for tours for photography.

Admission

The course fees discount system of my college is good for middleclass student who has financial problems. I do not have very high rank in joint entrance and this college faculties are very good and the placements are not bad. every students gets placed by the college and the college infrastructure is good and the college location is very eco friendly.

Faculty

In every semester there are two minor tests and one end semester for every subjects. The minor test papers are set by the teachers and the end semester question is set by external teachers. The student and teacher ratio is one teacher for 40 students. The best teachers are Ayan sir, Mostaid sir, Madhusudan sir. Partha sir is dean. The faculties are very friendly and understanding everyone is post graduate and researcher.

I rate my college course curriculum is so good see them i will take admission in this college and the faculties teaching methods are good exam time will fix by exam board and they always think about students comfort.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.
My hostel room was very filthy.The workers charges ₹100 for cleaning it

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

Its our lovely college TIU

Likes

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.

lab circumtances are lightly good.we can share our opinion their.
use of projector is very helpful for us .
faculties behaviour is good ,they are quite helpful toward us.

small area campus is that what I do not like
canteen facilities are not good enough .
small space library are not enough for all students

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.
