- Exam schedule management needs to improve because they have conducted 2 insem examination in only 15 days apart leaving us as students less time to study.
- Only 1 lift is available which becomes very crowded and only 1 cannot be managed among these many students at a time as the building is of 7 floors.
Course Curriculum Overview
Not only theory but also practical are practiced here. It's crucial that the curriculum includes updated languages,tools, framework as the tech landscape changes rapidly. I was really curious about web development and cyber security and that is the reason I chose IT course
Internships Opportunities
Many of the seniors have guided how the internships work.Companies which recruits students for jobs are the ones who provide internship to students and many other companies other than top recruiters ie private company or low scale company or associations also provide internship opportunities for students
Placement Experience
Capgemini,Wipro,TCS, Infosys,tech Mahindra, cognizant are top recruiters. Internship is also compulsory in the 3rd year for students to develop their skills and practice on real life problems. College offers almost 100% percent placement opportunity but at the end it all depends on the skills and problem solving mindset of the student. My personal plan after completing my degree is to try for masters abroad for better opportunities and learn new technologies. Average package is around 5 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for my course (IT) is 128000/- . I cannot confirm that it increases or decreases as I'm in first year even I don't have much idea about the same. The above mentioned yearly fee is for OPEN category only.
Campus Life
Alacrity, dandiya night,shiv jayanti,tenet and many more events are organised by the college but most importantly student involvement is very high. College contains a central library in which .any books and journals are available for benefit of students. Every classroom is equipped with projectors and screens and audio systems. Many clubs are present such as green club,royal club, tourism club and many more exciting clubs and events are organised.
Admission
I also applied to Modern College of engineering Pune but I did not like the campus and facilities that they provided in their fee structure as compared to my college. Another reason for not choosing modern College of engineering is their placement ratio is very low. The admission process for aissms institute of Information Technology Pune is through CET and JEE main examination. CET exam which is conducted by Maharashtra state is most preferred by students rather than JEE mains.usually jee mains seats are grabbed by students from another states.
Faculty
To be honest the faculty members are really helpful and supportive they can be strict at times but not rude or arrogant towards students. Students have to give 2 insem examination followed by 1st semester exam and same for 2nd semester exam.
