- class timings vary sometimes and during these hours we have to go to the library.
- students are not allowed to wander the premises of the college during free hours for third shift.
- Not all lifts are accessible by the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this combination specifically because of my interest in psychology. As I already had some experience in economics, this seemed the most obvious choice. By the end of this course I can chose to have either a specialised degree of any one subject or a normal degree in all three.
Fees and Financial Aid
the course i enrolled in is BA psychology economics journalism. It's a triple major course. I attend the third shift which is from 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock in the evening. The fee structure varies according to the combination you're in. My course costs a fees of around 75000 for one year. you get to pay the yearly fees in two installments. I paid it as 40 thousand in the first semester and 35 thousand for the second semester approximately. This covers all costs including tuition fees, lab fees, admission fees and compulsory charges. As I applied in the general category I don't get any financial aids. The fees also varies according to the second language you choose. The university offers a great campus environment and lab facilities. There are also areas for lounging and spending free hours. The library is amazing with a great collection of books both for entertainment and research. There are also two canteens available for the students, teachers and staff during all shifts.
Campus Life
There are a lot of associations and clubs in which you can join. Participating in club programs or association programs gets you credits which are vital for your course completion. Joining these is also a great way to make new friends and make your social life vibrant. Programs are also conducted out of campus.
Admission
I chose this college as it was more convenient for my family and the combination was not available in any other colleges. The other college I applied to was in Pune which was too far. The lag in result declaration of CUET exams was also a factor.
Faculty
There are different batches of staff for almost every shift which makes it easier for the staff and students to access. The staff rooms are always open to the students and the faculty are all very friendly. Each class is assigned two mentors with whom the students are supposed to meet with atleast once every month. All grievances and dissatisfaction can be shared with them.
