Likes
- campus is beautiful, includes a lot of greenery and building infrastructure is good.
- i like how there are multiple canteens available for each block
- facilities like the library and gym are really nice
Dislikes
- the attendance percentage requirement, and how attendance goes down so easily but takes so long to increase
- washrooms in the college are always dirty and smelly and are not regularly cleaned.
- some teachers are very targeting and some are strict for no reason
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is very good. definitely includes what all has to be learnt as first year students but teachers can certainly make it more interesting and include more practical lessons and make students go out and do field work as assignments. but the course gives enough preparation for real world but can definitely do more.
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fees is around eighty five thousand to ninety thousand. uniform fees comes to around three thousand five hundred. they made us pay exam fee for two thousand eight hundred. apart from that, we have a news paper subscription for our course per year, this cost around three hundred. so approximately we paid around one lakh ninety thousand plus for 1 year. the fees increases for each year.
Campus Life
kristu jayanti had only two events for whole college which was ethnic day and navaratri celebration. although both of them were grand and was fun, they can definitely host more events for the whole college to come together and have fun. the college has a lot of clubs and definitely every student will have something to join. library facilities are really good.
Admission
i applied only for kristu jayanti college as it was my only option as my parents wanted me to study somewhere close by to home. but other than kristu jayanti i wanted to join ramaiah university or saint joseph's university.
Faculty
some of the faculty members are absolute gems. but some of the teachers are so bad and so verbally discouraging to the students. they disrespect some of them so badly. personally i have been targeted so many times in places where it was not necessary. teaching wise most of them are good. exams are pretty good but teachers didn't help us prepare much for our first exam. only some faculty members are approachable.
Night Life
not really sure about night life as i don't stay jin PG, but from my friend's experience, they say its good and campus looks very nice during the night. college hostel timings are somewhere around 9'o clock to 10. rating has been done according to another person.
