Course Curriculum Overview

4

Im a student in information technology. So, my course curriculum is based on technical skills. They are helful. Because every course is related and useful for our placements. If you read well, you can crack placements easily. The curriculum really help me to solve realword problem while building a application or developing a application. The area of improvement is teaching. It should be properly planned because i had data structure in 2nd year. In third year i almost forgot most of the things. If i had data structute now. It would be helpful for me for my placements. The frequency of exams are really narrow. We wont be having time to study. They will continue teaching the lesson after you written a exam. First 2 period you will have exam after that, the college will process as a normal day where teachers will come and take lessons

Placement Experience

5

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year, i am a student opted this college by tnea councelling. Each year the fee structure vary. In first year, i paid 96,000 as tuition fee. I am staying in hostel. So hostel fee is like 40,000 for boarding and 60,000 for food from a food catering called samridhi. Also you can apply for scholarship. In first year, i got a scholarship amount of 6,000 in bc/mbc scholarship scheme. There is scholarship for other caste also. In second year, the hostel fee is same. The college fee is like 86,500.In third year, they increased food fee 5000 more totally hostel and food fee is 65,000+40, 000=1, 05,000. Each year the college fee will decrease. Im in third year. In final year, the college fee is 75,000.my batchmate also applied for SC scholarship she got a scholarship of 60,000.My another friend joined by management quota. For management you have to pay extra amount while joining the course.

Campus Life

5

Excellent experience and great college only for placement and learning. You can join the sports team if you know sports. They wont teach you. There is no event in college other than the freshers day. The sports event are arrange each year a inter department event. Yes, most of the student is running social media in instagram. By trolling the college and also there is separate instagram ID of my department for current technologies and to know more about daily events.

Hostel Facilities

2

One room is shared by four members. Separate girls and boys hostel. But only one mess for boys and girls. One side for girls and other for boys. The meal quantitu is limited for snacks and unlimited for lunch and breakfast. The food quality and taste is below average. The registration process is same as the college. Before availing hostel, you need to take dd or pay by college website. After paying only, they will allow you inside the college. There is a lift. Students quantity is like 300 but having single lift. The toilets are not clean.

Admission

I applied for SSN and saveetha college. But now i am happy that i got this college. Because when compares to saveetha. My college have better placements. So im happy that i have this college. The thing i hate is they wont teach you realworld application. And projects are very limited. Admission process is like you can apply via TNEA councelling or by management qouta. In tnea the college will be offered by your mark in 12th std and the availablity of seats. In management, the course is offered by your 12th marks.

Faculty

5

The faculties are very easily approachable. They will guide you for placement. And always tell you to prepare for placement. They are really friendly . They faculty i like is my revathy mam who is my class advisor. She is always friendly with us. And her teaching skill is amazing. I always love to read her subject. I personally dont hate any faculties. Because mostly every faculty will help you for your goodness. The exam structute is you will be having continous interval test 1 and 2 in each semester and a model exam and model practical. After the model exam there is semester. Before semester you will have study holidays for a week.

Interview Experience

5

No group discussion or any sort of rounds in the interview experience. The gd topic are mostly technical. You should be technically strong. For preparing these round first you should start solving problem. Because problem solving is also one major round And you should be string in aptitude and should have a good communication skill. And practise coding in online platforms

Night Life

3

There is gym inside the indoor stadium and also library but they are open till 5.30 pm after that you can't enter there. Hostel have rules. If you are staying in home and returning. You can come at any time. The security will be sitting at gate but the way to gate hostel is little scary because there are dogs roaming inside the college. If you go for outing in weekend you should enter the campus before 6.30pm for girls. For boys you can enter anytime. They wont allow any outsidd foods inside the hostel.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
