- I like the cultural events and the main event called "AKSHARA" which happens once every year and everyone look out for it.
Dislikes
- Won't allow to roam around college during class timings.
- Food in the canteen is overpriced. Not at all worth for the price we pay.

Course Curriculum Overview
My course "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" possesses a wide range of possibilities for my career as the future is going to be around artificial intelligence. The course takes you from basic to advanced in the span of 4 years and helps in understand the applications and working of machine learning models. Also, the exams are very much relevant to the course curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
During my academic year, I didn't get any internships with stipends. The college did not provide any internships during my academic year, at least for my branch. Well, we did build some projects based on artificial intelligence using Python. As for the internships, there were no internships with stipends.
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that are visited are Accenture, Winwire, Zithara, TCS, Deloitte, etc. The highest package offer was about 26 l.p.a. The average package was about 3.5 to 4.5 l.p.a. The students getting placed are the ones maintaining a GPA of 7.5 and above. After getting the degree I plan on building different Saas and working as a freelancer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Year-wise fee I paid was 1,08,500 rupees. The admission fee was about 14,000 rupees. Out of 1,08,500 1,03,500 was tuition fee and the remaining 5,500 was miscellaneous fee. As for the other categories (SC, ST), there is no tuition fee. For the management student, aside from tuition fees, the donation was about 4 to 6 lacs.
Campus Life
The annual event "AKSHARA" is very popular in our college. It is held during the month of March. The technical events are held during the second half of the semester following inter-college expos and hackathons. The college library contains great books. They teach in a modern style and the labs are fully advanced. They also conduct inter-college competitions once a year in sports and other extracurricular activities. Each branch has its own association, for the AIML branch we have the TEAM Association. The clubs and associations provide support and good impact on student's life.
Admission
The other college I applied to is "GRIET". I was not accepted as my rank was not in the eligibility criteria. The reason I chose MREC is because of the big campus area, auditorium, and other amenities. The number of cultural events is also more compared to any other college. In order to get admission you either need to give a donation or score an eligible rank on the TSEAMCET exam. As for me I got around 18k rank and belongs to the general category.
Faculty
In my class, there are 70 students and 8 faculty. Faculty possess great knowledge in their subject. Most of the faculty is super chill. They always support us. Some faculty are arrogant and I dislike them. And as for the exams, there are two midterms and semester exams following them. Midterms are easy and Semester exams are a bit of a challenge. Most of the students pass and the course curriculum is very much relevant.
Night Life
The Nightlife outside the campus is great. The college timings are from 9:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The locality is very safe to roam around at night as the whole locality consists of PGs, hostels, and restaurants. The nightlife is great around our college. I am a day scholer so I don't know much about hostel stuff.
