Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is pretty good as mentioned above. The degree is not only for academic progress but for also Personality development.we learn how to be punctual and how to talk to anyone. Teaching methods needs to be improved. In aug-dec semester MST-1 held in sept and second one in November and Final exams are conducted in Dec-Jan.i opted for Btech in Computer Science and Engineering but I don't see the need of ED and Basic electrical Engineering subject in this particularly. This is while my opinion.

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies are generally seeking best engineers for their well being.and I think The most studious ones and with the correct knowledge are ones they take as . the internship programs are good.I seek all the ones who are interested to study in this college .please come in with proper knowledge and consentment.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Arman Singh,18 and I would like to say it's an average college. I come under Sc category so I am availing the benefit of PMS scholarship.but my mates Pay around 50k every semester. The registration fees is 3000 inr. I apples for the PMS scholarship by government so I paid only registration and security fees.

Campus Life

4

The functions conducted are pretty good. The freshers party was very good In my opinion.we enjoyed a lot.the Youth fest was pretty good. The central library almost contain all types of books. The classrooms are pretty basic.they need improvement for sure. There are Ncc camps for students pursuing their careers in military league.which is very beneficial. Student Life is good .

Admission

Basically I completed my 12 th from baba Farid group of institutions bathinda only and didn't prepare for JEE exam so I decided to take addmission in this college. My addmission proceed was completed within One day.So admission process was no doubteely good

Faculty

3

The faculty staff is preety good and well. They all are good to communicate and we understand preety good.Whenever there is any need to meet any teacher we just call them and meet them.overall faculty staff is no doubtedly good. Coming to exams there are 2 mid sem tests 24+6 marks 24 theory and 6 marks Quiz. The average of the both Tests is added to Internal marks that is of 40 marks. Out of 100 we need to score atleast 15 marks out of 60 for passing. MID SEM TESTS are basically of 1-2 units per subject and they are not very difficult. The final exams, students may find them moderate to difficult.

Night Life

3

We innour free time love to spend time roaming around the university all in. There are 2 canteens in the campus and we Have one Green city square outlet Containing MCD,KFC , Starbucks etc.that is very near to the campus.Abiut hostels the fee is around 10-11k per semester. Hostel Life is good.

The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
